It's not just about the gap between the super-rich and everyone else. It's about the gap between the top 10-20% and everyone else, buying up real estate, walling themselves off in towns with no non-wealthy people, being able to float their kids as they take unpaid internships, etc. I maintain that it's markedly harder today for people who are of average ability but reasonably hardworking to get by and/or ahead. I'm  doing okay, but I'm doing okay in a game that is rigged, and more than I care to admit of my financial success was due to being in the right place at the right time.

FYI - the OnlyFans creator being discussed is SantanaXXL.  He is a very successful OF creator in terms of likes, subscribers & income generated. OF “likes” can only be made by subscribers which is an indicator of subscribers/income.  He’s so successful that he maintains a separate site that sells various merchandise - very few OF creators generate enough interest for merchandise sales.
While his audience may not be the people here - he has a huge audience that supports him.  He routinely films with very popular creators that do fit with more traditional ideas of male beauty & sexy - he doesn’t seem to have any problem getting willing collaborators.  Obviously they know the upside of appearing with him and/or there is an attraction. btw - he has 788,000 followers on Twitter
I tend to have far more respect for anyone that manages to succeed while overcoming societal expectations, discrimination, judgment through their own drive, ambition & despite all the odds.  I can only imagine how many times this guy was told he couldn’t do exactly what he did.

Good for you for still having it.  Tie tacks are the kind of item that gets lost very easily. You must value it greatly to have mnaged to not drop it, leave it in a tie and forget about it, put it in a pocket and leave it there, put it on a bureau and have it fall behind it or any one of a dozen other mishaps.

This makes sense, doesn't it? For those who struggled, graduation is a real accomplishment and ought to be celebrated, shouldn't it? For those for whom it was more of a foregone conclusion:

In recent years I have given my nieces and nephews $150 for HS graduation and $250 for college graduation.  I see all of them fairly regularly so I am part of their lives.  I have no idea what Miss Manners would say, but it's an amount with which I feel comfortable.

Be sure to give a physical greeting card.  Years later, the money or gift will be gone, but they may still have the card as a memory.  I still have the Congratulations cards I received for my high school and university graduations (unlike most birthday and Christmas cards, which I tend to discard).

I had a small high school class (less than 20).  I observed at my high school graduation that the number of family/friends in the audience for each graduate was inversely proportional to the graduate's GPA.  The students who struggled the most, and likewise are still struggling 20 years later, are the ones whose parents hosted the biggest graduation parties and invited the neighborhood.  The students who graduated with honors had only immediate family present.  I graduated high school at the top of my class 20 years ago and received a small gift from my parents (cost $25) that I remember well and still have.

As a total introvert, I could never pull this off myself, but I love the idea and it would absolutely give me a warm and friendly first impression if a guy did this to me. (But I'm not a provider so perhaps I shouldn't be chiming in, but I just really loved this!)

Be pleasant and nice.  I find it to be a major ice breaker when a provider first walks in the door and reaches to shake your hand, and you pull them in for a hug.  Don't know if I should be doing that or not, but it has never failed me yet.

Along this theme, Jason Collins has an extensive list of "Porn Star Confessions" on his YouTube channel.  I've listened to some (not much reason to actually watch the split screen video) and found them interesting for the "real world" glimpses of the lives of pornies.  Caveats, I never heard of a lot of his guests, naturally, he's not IMO a great interviewer, mostly letting guests just ramble freely, and the format often runs to 1+ hrs, waaaay too much of some folks who are just not that interesting.  Also, some of his guests are engaged and articulate, some are ... not.  All that said, I've picked through for the "stars" I know and enjoy, and have found the discussion enlightening.

I believe the only "in the buff" men I saw were in the hot tub. Nonetheless, I don’t think anyone really cares whether or not you’ve got clothes on. I know the breakfast gentleman was clothed because I complimented him on his shirt. As I’ve said elsewhere, gentlemen learn to take a fucking compliment. I’m not going to bend you over and fuck out on the pool chase lounge in front of your vapid boyfriend (unless you beg)  just because you said "thank you." I’ve seen people being mugged on the NYC subway who looked less frightened for Christ’s sake.
I would say the Hacienda clothes to naked ratio was 80:20. Unlike those 20:80 whores over at Inndulge…..grin

My mother was the oldest of six siblings, grew up in a household that also included three cousins who were like sisters to her, and outlived almost all of them. Those were some of the hardest losses for her to deal with.

After one of my ~90yo grandmother's friends died, she took it really hard, was depressed for weeks.  Two of my aunts were a bit baffled because while they were friends, they weren't really all that close.  Then it dawned on them:  the friend was the last of grandma's age group.  Although she did have other friends, they were all at least a decade younger.  It must be hard to start talking about "remember when ..." only to realize that nobody does.

In her extreme old age, my mother once said, "The worst thing about old age is not how you look or how you feel. The worst thing is losing all the old friends who could remember the life you once lived."
