  1. Back in the day, I paid usually with checks and so they knew my name and if they wanted it to be made out personally, then I knew theirs. Occasionally, I would leave the name blank and allow them to fill it in. I do usually ask if the name I am using for them is a stage name, sometimes it is obvious that it is. I have not had a provider tell me they would rather not reveal their real name. In my head, the person's actual name already increases the intimacy significantly.
  2. My trainee from 5 years ago has just left. Had a nice 1.5 talk and he is back to packing to head back to NJ to live. It is a shame we did not get together sooner as it would have been nice for me to speak with him a bit more and to perhaps share a meal. His mileage may vary.
  3. Or push up the daisies
  4. I am getting a visit today from one of my trainees who I have not seen in five or six years. He is driving an hour for a one hour or so visit and then returning home. He is moving back east and has said he wanted to see me before he did so. He and I were not particularly close and other than professionally, I do not think we have much in common. Though not a friend, I am very pleased that he is stopping by to say hello and ?pay respects. Do people pay respects other than with a death? In any case, it gave me hope that kindness and gratitude are not totally dead. Of course, he may be coming over just to get some deep seated hostility off his chest. I will inform as to how it went.
  5. I dont think he says "Do you work out" to everyone. At least he never said it to me. Good reason for that.
  6. Is that chain strong enough to keep that junk in the trunks?
  7. About thirty years or so ago, I was dining midweek at Commander's Palace and there was only one other table being used. That table had one older man and about a dozen beautiful young men. I ask the waiter what was going on and he said, Oh Just another Tuesday for Herb Ritts. Not knowing who Herb Ritts was, I went to a book store to see his photographs. Clearly Mr Ritts liked putting on the Ritz and did it well.
  8. I did not mean to imply that one should consider age as a criteria for friendship, merely beyond a certain age spread, it is difficult to connect on day to day travails. It doesn't require conversation to have issues seen. A night out used to require a quick pee at the onset and perhaps one at the end of the evening depending on the intake. Now not so much. Walking cross town used to be a fun way to chat and get some air and perhaps sober up a bit. If a younger friend suggested that, I would have to decline. I did not select friends by age, but as I age, the same age difference has gotten larger.
  9. I have had mostly younger friends since my early thirties. I am not speaking of a year or two, I am speaking of about a decade. I used to think that this was great, that they would keep me younger acting. I am not speaking of friendcs with benefits, which I believe most would find younger preferrable, I am speaking ofjust someone with whom to spend time. Now that I am over 65, I find that younger friends have a difficult time understanding things like frequent urine stops and lack of desire to go out at night. They would rather have dinner out than just have something at home. While I still enjoy their company. it seems they are less understanding the things that we seniors face on a daily basis. I hit a curb while driving and got a flat tie. I was able to make it home. I spoke to my friend who is in his early 50s and he suggested I just change it myself. When I explained that I had already called a tow truck and I had difficulty getting up into the cab, he was surprised and seemed a bit incredulous that would be the case. So men, expecially the seniors but anyone is welcome, do you prefer your friends older or younger. I believe that there is a sweet spot between five years younger and five years older that is ideal, but life and friendships are never ideal.
  10. It may fill a void in both places though I agree that these days, traditional strip joints are not as popular. In addition, the set up could allow nude stripppers in one venue with a separate entrance to another business with a different license to allow alcohol. Buy your drinks (and likely drugs) in one and then go watch the boys strut and pump.
  11. While Perdro was a major draw for me in Season 1 and the beginning of Season 2 and especially in the retrospective episode recently, it was the story that was captivating. Now it is all about violence and revenge without the real sense of purpose that was in Season 1. I cannot imagine Season 3 will add that dimension back as Abbie is Ellie in terms of lack of purpose and violence for the sake fo vengence. If Ellie's dad is hot maybe he will draw me in but I am not hopeful that the story will, knowing what Abbie becomes. Ellie. Abbie who is next. Effie or Addie or perhaps Iggie.
  12. Thanks for the heads up. Did not realize that Troptard and Nicksonsecond were one in the same but the photos are from two different people. Guess he is one to avoid.
  13. Yes those are from several years ago and while they are positive, I was looking for something newer. Those posts are uniformly positive, but some things change. Thanks for the posting.
  14. Matt Stevens I have seen his ad in the past and now he is coming to Palm Springs. If you have had experience with him, would he be a good person with whom to have a one and done. He is not based near here, so I assume he would be a one time guy. MattStevens - Pornstar Performer, Rentboy, Gay Massage in Washington, DC | RentMen On the other hand, Nicksonsecond is based in Palm Springs, so if you have had experience with him, I would love to hear it. Rentboy, Nicksonsecond - Pornstar Performer, Rentboy, Gay Massage in Palm Springs, CA | RentMen As with most rentmen advertisers, they both have mostly five star reviews dating back years. Click the name not the chiron.
  15. For me, this is homoerotic because it seems as though our ass man is fucking a very much smaller and likely tight young man. He has a great ass and I only wish this was a vine with a few thrusts being shown.
  16. There are some mirrors in the gym I am going to now but I choose not to look. Unlike a tasty piece of cake, I can resist the mirrors.
  17. I do not look in mirrors and have not intentionally looked in a mirror other than for medical reasons is more than 30 years. I also do not do photos unless cajoled by a friend. This all started when I looked in the mirror on a morning was like any other and instead of seeing my face, I saw the face of my father staring back at me. Now my father was a handsome man and a bit of a playboy when he was widowed in his later twenties and early thirties. Just seeing the resemblance and my association with him being an "old" man, he was my father after all and he was 39 when I was born, freaked me out. I was never much of a mirror guy and that episode sealed the deal. Now looking back at pictures taken years ago and see that I actually looked quite handsome, I realize that I had dysmorphia which is probably still present, but at this point I have gotten used to not using the mirror and the camera though I can do so with ease now, but I just do not do so. .

To be fair, he did not stand you up, rather he was going to be late and was very late in letting you know that. As a result you cancelled rather than have him come later than scheduled. It seems that you set up a tight schedule with a session and dinner with someone else to follow soon after. So perhaps the warning is not that he cancels or stands one up but rather that he is not respectful of scheduling and so expect that he may be late and also late to let you know that. For me, that would not be a problem, but I can certainly see where others who are more schedule driven would be annoyed.
  19. 0 i spoke to a trainer today and told him what my goal was, to be able to do a pec bounce and he said that might take awhile. It could be a result of what would pass for my pecs would require a crane to lift. In any case he said that I could expect that kind of rise by the fall. SO there you have it. I signed up for 12 sessions. Trainers here are charging in the region of 75 dollars a session. I have no idea as to whether that is expensive or not. Back in the early 2000s, a physician assistant who worked in my office was also a personal trainer. He was the first cousin to a reality TV show personality who was known for a philosophy of "tan, gym and laundry". I believe those were the three points. Anyway, he lived by that philosophy as well and he had won a Mr. Long Island contest and was a power lifter. I never found out if he was a power bottom. In any case, he was charging $60 dollars an hour back then, so $75 now did not seem unreasonable. What are trainers charging where you are?
  20. You could just go buy your old phone back, like ransom but I would find that amaxzingly annoying. Pay with a credit card andthen cancel the charge once you have your phone, that would likely cause you further headaches but the satisfaction might be worth it.
  21. Swimming is a great exercise. My gym does not have a pool but my backyard does. However, the pool has two shallow ends with steps on both ends so that doing laps is not possible. It is possible to walk the perimeter in the water, which is fun and allows me to skim the foliage that finds its way in due to the Palm Springs wind. And afterwards, I can sit at one end and look out over a nice view of the mountains. That is not a great exercise for the body but it is a great exercise for the spirit.
  22. Thank you all for the encouragement and the ideas. I ;I used to counsel people who wanted to change their health to do three days, three weeks then three months and then three years. I have done the days and weeks part of that and I am approachjng the three months. Then come the true test, the three year part. There is a general idea that it takes 10000 hours to become expert at something so one hour a day, 6 days a week for 50 weeks a year for three years gets you nearly there.
  23. I do not think self sucking is a good idea in that if I can do that, why would I go to the gym?
