Bringing lube

Who has the responsibility for providing lube, condoms, etc., the escort or the client? I had a situation where neither of us brought any lube, so very little fucking took place that time. I find it hard when traveling to an unknown city to either try to carry lube on an airplane or search out a place to buy some near the airport. Does it make a difference whether you are doing an incall or outcall?

Clearly the escort’s responsibility, but that’s irrelevant. Folks forget or run out, or whatever. I always bring both just in case. And lube comes in carry on sizes or you can put it in a small unmarked container. Easy and allows you to rest easy.

Of course the provider should have everything, and if he doesn’t, he is not really a pro, but as a client who doesn’t only do regulars, I cannot be sure that all my escorts are real pros and well prepared. So I carry everything.

They make very small bottles:

I'd say the person that is hosting is responsible. I assume if I'm headed to a client's home, they have the essentials. If I'm swinging by a hotel room for a client on business, I bring the supplies as I doubt they brought everything. 100% of the time I bring at least a condom. I play safe and the "I forgot a condom" excuse won't fly if I always have one! ;)

Wow Victor. If I’m paying a pro $250 an hour, I’d expect him to always possess the essential tools of the trade. If a plumber came to my house and asked if he could borrow my tools, I wouldn’t hire that guy again.

I have had zero problems operating this way. Then again 90% of my clients come to me and I'm ready with everything.

Keep a nondecript appearing "trick bag" packed with various essentials you think you might need. Mine has water-based and synthetic lubes, condoms of various sizes, and dildos of various sizes. Plus a paddle and mini flogger just in case. Often the bag is never opened if the host has his own stuff but it's good to know it's all there.

If that's all too much for traveling light just bring a couple of little bottles of lube in your carry-on. TSA has seen everything, no need to be shy.

I have a small bag that I carry with me normally anyways, so I just take anything valuable out of it (I know it's a bit paranoid but hey you never know) and then carry lube + condoms in it just in case. The client almost always has everything though, but I feel like it'd be a bit unprofessional if I didn't have them on me. I feel like it's pretty bare minimum of what I could bring going into a booking.

I always bring my "go kit" that includes my favorite lube, condoms, wipes (always clean up before leaving my home but like the assurance of wiping out my hole), and gum. On the few occasions where I haven't planned on playtime I ask if my playmate has supplies. It never crossed my mind that one of us would be "responsible" for providing supplies. How do we hold them accountable? Make a black mark in their permanent file?

I've thoroughly rinsed a couple of travel-sized shampoo and conditioner bottles. I use these bottles to transport lube when I travel. No questions from family members who might be looking to borrow a nail file or clippers, no raised eyebrows from travel companions who might notice a bottle of lube in my clear bag going through the x-ray machine.

I carry a couple of condoms from Magnum XL on down. I expect an escort to bring his own because he might have a preference. I'm prepared, however, so that I won't be disappointed. I've hosted a few escorts that came unprepared. Seems to me that there have been a few stories on this forum from clients who had condoms and ended up with escorts complaining because they weren't the right kind.

Non-versatile bottom here.....when meeting a new guy, I always ask if he has favorite / favored brands of both (lube & condoms) & also ask if he brings along or if I should have on hand.....(I'm almost always hosting in hotels).....when DonBlueEyes/Phx first mentioned that he needed MagnumXLs, I quickly asked if he could meet at 3pm instead of 4pm ;)......anyway, when I'm supplying - a minor expense that I'm happy to cover.

I always provide. This past winter I carried around a mini-bottle of lube in my coat pocket every day (even when at my day job, just in case anyone called for play time after my shift).

Buzzkill and you risk looking unprofessional if you don't provide (wastes people's time if you suddenly have to run to the drug store or stag shop to resupply).

I agree with most people on here the provider should have everything they need. I've been a provider for many years and my number one priority is comfortability for myself and my client. Fresh towels Fresh Linen clean shower plenty of condoms plenty of lube plenty of toys and plenty of poppers if they're needed. Just is professional to be prepared for any situation
