I see so many cute fellows with such huge tattoos, and they just make me loose interest.

When I was a teenager, I remember the lectures from my overbearing, difficult, screechy voiced mum who has basically been 70 years old her entire life. Most of them were not relevant to the life of any sane adolescent, but the one that actually made sense was her absolute loathing of anyone who got a tattoo. Everything from 'they did that to our people at the camps' to 'I want to make sure I can bury you in a Jewish cemetery when you die'....oddly enough, when she actually turned 70 a few years ago and got 'permanent makeup' applied to her eyebrows (making her look sort of like a wrinkled, terrifying version of catwoman) and lips (making her look like a vegas hooker at a long night of work) we had a blowout argument about that being the same / looking s bad as a tattoo.

I digress.

I buzzed down to Indianapolis to visit her last weekend and while in situ in my adolescent bedroom, I decided to sneak out for a meeting with a great looking fellow off of rentmen. And managed to not notice in his ad that he had massive star shaped tattoo messes all over his chest (oy) which was a letdown. (though he looked quite nice facedown, so all was not lost).

The entire time I kept thinking 'oh, god those will look terrible when you are 50' but on my way home realized I would likely be mostly dead by the time he was 50, so I did not have to worry about it.

Tattoos are part of the person. You either like the person or not. Some escorts took at them as art. Me I can take tattoos or leave them. There are much more importent things I consider when hiring. Does the escort represent him self in his ad? Will he provide the service as advertised. And most important his personality. I am currently seeing an unadvertised porn star. He has many tattoos, more than I would like. He treats me fabiously and we connect very well. What more can I ask for. I only wished I had met him when I was his age. I am a realist.

I remember an episode of "Happy Days". Show was set in the 50s. The Fonz was telling what things were a turn off for him when dating. He said if she had tattoos. Everyone laughed. Now tattoos are as common on women as men.

I hate tattoos!

Imo the only people who should show their tattoos are Holocaust survivors so that we never forget!

I simply don't understand why people want to use their beautiful skin as drawing board and paint it with all sorts of ink! However, if I ever decide then I will go for temporary tattoo! Don't want to live with it for whole life! I understand in case of surgery tattoo are good to conceal the scar but not for normal skin!

My tattoos are meaningful to me, and I'm pleased I have them. If that loses me some business, so be it. (Happily, though, many clients comment that they like them, so it may be the case that it gets me different business). There are lots of tattoos on others that I don't like, but I don't generally feel the need to comment on it, nor has it ever decisively put me off of somebody.

Tattoos aren't done for you. They are done for the person with the tattoo. Some have incredibly deep meaning to the recipient, and others are just for appearance purposes. I, personally, see lots of tattoos that I like and lot's that I don't like. But I also recognize and respect that my opinion on someones tattoos, just like my opinion on their hairstyle, shoes, or choice of boyfriend, wasn't solicited nor likely welcome.

On the whole I turn off to tattoos. There are some that actually look good, but not many, at least not to me. But the thing that turns me off isn’t just the esthetics. It is that the tattoo is a statement and having a permanent statement puts limits on imaginative play. I like escorts who can play along with my scenarios, and unless they are physically a canvas I can project my desires onto, the fun is diminished for me. I certainly respect self-expression, but what I am engaging an escort for is a kind of theatre. Tattoos limit the escort’s role-filling abilities to the extent that the tattoo is a counter image.

This topic again. I will do this for the second time, perhaps starting a new routine. My apologies for repeating myself on a repeated subject.

I am glad so many of you do not like tattoos. Here we have a few examples of guys the rest of us will not have to share with you.

But now days some are having words, sentences, even paragraphs that one can not easily read.

And on tv dancing shows when a contestant has a visible tattoo it is distracting. I pay more attention to the tattoo than the performance.

I really like this season of "Survivor" that no one is hideously tattooed. Afaik only one person has a tattoo, the youngest member, with something written over his pec and I had to ask here what it said.

Some gay-for-pay porn models have a tattoo of a female; I'd think that would be a turn-off for their partner.

Of course it is a matter of personal preference. I have seen some beautiful works of art on peoples bodies. When given choice I will take a beautiful body as it was created. It is the random hodgepodge that I really hate. Badly done by inferior artists or even worse self done. Like an Urban wall sullied by graffiti.

I pity directors forced to deal with trying to work around an actors tats. Makeup can't hide them well and digitally removing them can seriously ad to a budget. Again it is a matter of taste but I do think think to the future old folks home where once Majestic Stallions are now withered Donkeys and colorful butterflies are dried up moths.

You actually reinforced my veiwpoint. All those beautiful bodies desecrated by tattoos. We'll have to agree to disagree.

Im rather heavily tattooed. I think it's fine for others not to like tattoos. What I don't understand is the unusual animus toward them. It seems some people are angry that you didn't check with them before you got tattoed, even though you're perfect strangers.

IIRC, at least in Massachusetts, scars are not allowed to be concealed in this fashion.
