Using a metaphor for rather affordable being toned, and "do you accept payment plans?" for being buff.

I can't help but notice that gyms are now packed to the gills at all hours of the day and night - except Saturday night. The whole world wants to be fit and look good (and evidently go out on that one night of the week), even guys who used to be content with a simple, healthy look now collectively want to out-muscle one another. For those that advertise, I don't know if this has more to do with market competition being higher in general, or that they are more in-demand to be seen by more clients because of their increased size.

Muscles matter a great deal. The threads on here of some of the most ripped men available carry on for several pages. I've seen some at the Company of Men party, which is really cool (other than my terrified aversion to talk to most of them, which is rather unfounded).

I stick to smaller gyms and tend to go during off peak hours. I went today, around 7:30 and there was maybe 5 of us there. I could have did a strenuous workout, but I didn’t want to stay too late as I had to commute home.

It could be your city, but I doubt the “whole world” wants to be fit. In the Midwest and South there’s still a lot of obesity. Also, not to put down or generalize: but I do notice fewer gay black men and gays in general, are going to the gym in some areas. It makes me cringe when I go to the gym, and it’s only the hetero-flexible guys hanging with their bros. I go on the apps, and all the gay guys are 5,000 feet from the gym 😑

I would love to bulk up more, but I’m also aware that some of these guys out there are using 💉 to get there. No shade if that’s the case but, that doesn’t work for everybody. Even just naturally working out with legal GNC/Walmart/Vitamin supplements, I’ve outgrown some really nice shirts that I used to love wearing but they look too small on me now. I’ve also ripped a few pair of jeans and shorts 😂

I also like to admire a nice body, however I find too many gym warriors be hella conceited and narcissistic. Like, it’s all about them (not saying everybody is but, across the board they can be. Or they’re only loyal with people who are in their party/druggie circle). Sometimes I rather just go for a guy who’s not in the gym as much, but I do want to have someone who is fitness conscious to some degree.

I used to be fat and ugly and now I'm old and ugly, and I credit regular gym attendance with my not being old, fat and ugly.  That being said, the OP is right that there seems to be an arms race (sorry for the pun) among escorts trying to be more and more muscular.  I find a toned but not bulked up body to be more appealing and have been disappointed when hiring a toned escort only to find out that he's been trying to "add muscle" over the last few months and now looks completely different.

I've always been lightly active. I wanted to get back into providing. So I started working out 10 hours per week and improving my diet. I go to a gym with a good culture and do sports. I view it as part of the job. Vanity's part of the business and I'm proud of my muscles. My health has improved too. I don't think escorts need a specific body type to be attractive to clients. I'm not the most buff guy at the gym and I don't need to be.

I love going to the gym. It's great for the mind, body, and soul.

I'd also like to point out that the opposite of what this thread discusses is also true. Check out the latest batch of gaunt twinks in the deli. A majority of them are now upping their prices to $1000+.

Some gay men have straight tastes: Skinny and pretty. I'm guilty of it, too. It's probably why I'm bisexual.
