With masseurs (whose pattern of appointments is likely to be different from escorts) you should consider the feasibility or their meeting such a request. They will often see several clients with often relatively short intervals between them. For them to honour your request, they likely need to be deodorant-free for appointments before yours, something they may not be prepared to do. But you could still ask.

That makes sense. I usually try to book my massage appointments as early in the morning as they're available, which could make it easier for them to honor my request, methinks.

@TxMaxx Like you, I, too, enjoy a man’s natural musk. I use a variation of -
“If possible, I’d be grateful if you could avoid wearing deodorant during our session. Thank you.”  It needn’t be awkward and he’s probably heard it before.

And, thank you, @mike carey, for offering a perspective I hadn’t considered.

Great suggestion, it implies why you’re making the request without making it awkward. Thank you. 🤠

I would hope a provider showers between encounters if they provide anything other than legitimate massage.

I agree, but if that were the case, they wouldn't be able to offer a 'musky' experience, which is what the OP wanted.

Its the minimum we can expect from Clients and providers: Showers! I do not care if they wear pleasant fragrances! Something like Fahrenheit from Dior Belami from Hermes ou Habit Rouge from Guerlain can be quite sexy!

With good communication and reasoning, all providers comply with the request. After the second, third or fourth clients of the day is tough for provider to keep it fresh. Discussing my reasoning and the solution to keep it fresh without using deodorant they were delighted to try. I love young fresh smell armpits and more.

Not to yuck anyone's yum, but...

I never liked body odor (pits, crotch), but since I quit smoking 12-13 years ago, my sense of smell is so acute that a guy with what others consider mild musk makes me gag. I similarly cannot handle strong deodorants or anything more than a dab of cologne.

I have never understood the appeal of it, particularly as a bottom who takes effort to be very clean and hygienic. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Sorry. I never found the smell of a hospital, a medical lab, or an operating room to be sexy. The scent of Clorox wipes does not arouse my cock.

Nobody likes to talk about it, but an unwashed provider who lets multiple customers lick him during the day's workload can be problematic. If licking is your fetish, it is worth talking to your doctor about that.

Washing your skin numerous times a day can also present challenging issues. I wouldn't want to be a provider with sensitive skin.

You can create a profile on the massage sites. You can state in your profile what you like, and provide the link in your communication with the provider. There is no guarantee the provider will read it, even if you ask him to, but many will read it, and say yes to your request. Most men are sexually affected by scent, pro or con, so there is absolutely no reason to feel awkward about discussing this issue. If the issue is important to you, then it's your responsibility to communicate that. Many providers respect good communication. If you don't speak up, the encounter could become a disappointing guessing game.

I can assure you that I do not wash my body or douche with bleach. My soap is primarily Dove Sensitive Skin, and my body wash is lightly lavender-scented. It's a far cry from a hospital lab or an operating room.

No need to do that. I meant nothing personal. It's just when I read the words "very clean and hygienic" in America, I never know what to think.

But I can say this, I don't want the scent of lavender on my boy's cock, pit, or ass crack. To each his own.

For those of you who, like me, are into natural musk, do you ask massage providers not to wear deodorant ahead of your session? How do you ask without making it awkward?

I never wear deodorant when meeting a client.

Though I don't ask clients not to wear deodorant, I find that most clients are not wearing it.      As someone pointed out, not wearing it facilitates tongue exploration.
