I like my boys to be smooth but am weary of the nicks and cuts from a razor.  Any recommendations on an electric shaver that does the job well?  Manscaped Lawnmower?  Something else?  The boys thank you for the recommendations.  (For those who tend to respond with links to previous discussions:  please don’t unless the discussion is recent)

I know you said you were looking for an appliance. And I don’t know where you are geographically. BUT there is a great guy in Palm Springs if you were looking to have someone shave your balls for you. I haven’t been to PS in a few years but I’d have him shave mine every time I visited. If that’s an option let me know. 😀

Thanks.  I’m in the DC area.  Would love to have someone do it—sounds hot—but probably not as my main grooming program.

I use Mach III by Gillette, dry.

The key is applying NO pressure. Do not use finger to add pressure, which can work fine on face with cream or gel. The razor has enough weight when held at the very end of the handle with forefinger and thumb, and I merely guide it - multiple passes, every direction, no pressure applied. Listen carefully to hear the snap of the hairs being cut, and check with free hand for other directions of hair growth on the spot. Works on shaft hairs and taint.

Rarely do I draw blood (usually when my mind wanders and I go too fast) and there's no irritation following. I always follow with a Witch Hazel towelette.

Decades ago, my wife and I spent a fortune with laser and electrolysis. My balls are clear and bush is reduced and much softer (she erased EVERYthing shoulders down!). I’ve tried the new razors on other parts but they just don’t live me unscathed
