Because some people are willing to pay for companionship or dates. You don't need to be a provider to know that.

It’s not just about sex. Primarily it’s about human connection, talking, sharing intimacy, cuddling, touch, just being with someone. People hire for those reasons and sex might happen as result of being together but it isn’t the objective of the session. These are all great reasons to hire.

My social life for years was centered around a  changing flow of people through my worklife. I never felt comfortable sharing anything about my sex life (I learned to not to “shit where you eat” early on) Friends knew I was gay, but I let them tell their own stories about sexual adventures - in work settings, and doing that today would mean termination.

I thought the question was why some escorts provide only companionship, hanging for a fee perhaps even hung noncapitalized for a fee, or only dates low hanging but non-plucked. Why some folks hire such is not complex and has been well covered.
