A traveling escort has been advertising in my city since mid-May. His travel schedule was Washington, DC all of last week, then Boston MA for this past week (Memorial Day - June 1) then my city from June 2 - 6. Then back to his hometown (I think in NYC). I had my eye on him as he checked all the boxes. I inquired about him here, but no responses. One nice member was kind enough and  PM'd me to let me know what a great guy he was and highly recommended (and I appreciate the PM, as I trust this member). So I put him on my 'yes list' for this upcoming week.

I did check his ad each day this week to see if there were any changes - perhaps he was cutting Boston short and coming to Providence early, but no - the schedule stayed the same. He did post new photos and he looked sexier than ever.

So this afternoon I text him (his last day in Boston) and send him a nice message - I see you're coming to Providence this week, and I'm interested in booking an appointment tomorrow night. What is the rate for an hour ?  Where will you be staying ? (I also let him know if he needs hotel suggestions, I can provide hotels near the highway to make it easy for clients, and with plenty of free parking).

He responds politely - thanks for reaching out, yes, tomorrow night will work for him, he's $359 for an hour, check the list he attached for what he offers, and a separate message thanking me to help him with hotels, because he's never been to Providence before, as this is his first time.  It would be a big help if I can send him the recommendations tomorrow morning, so he can book something before leaving Boston.

I respond, yes I will - and politely remind him he didn't send the 'list' he mentioned in his response.

A few minutes later he responds that he's not coming to Providence, he was here all this past week, and he just arrived in Boston. HUH ? But he comes to Providence all the time (No, he doesn't) so we can meet next time. HUH ?

I let him know he wasn't advertising in Providence all this past week - so he must've had no clients. He was advertising he was in Boston. I let him know his ad is still up for Providence, and it says he'll be here tomorrow. I also reminded him he first said he's never been in this city before, then he's telling me he travels here all the time. I let him know it's a confusing way to do business.

He responds about thirty minutes later - 'Sorry, my bad. Change of plans! See you next time. '  About two hours later he changes the travel schedule on his ad - now saying he'll be going somewhere else this week.

I've written him off for the future - I can't deal with idiots. I work too hard for my $359 (what a strange price) and rather give it to someone who's willing to earn it. Still, I'm wondering if someone else is traveling with him, and they were the one who grabbed his phone and responded the first time around ?  Something weird going on there - I believe I dodged a bullet.

That $359/hour sounds familiar. I tried to book this guy at one point and wound up passing. $359 lol

I'm guessing he's adding in a 20% tip for himself (imagine those who don't realize this and add another tip at the end?).

It was one of the most bizarre contacts I've ever made with an escort.

It’s not unusual that their locations aren’t correct.  They will set it for a city to see how much interest they get.  If not enough, they don’t come.  And neither do you.

I'm sorry that happened, but I'm, glad to read that you didn't lose money or more time. There are plenty more out there. There are some providers (and non-providers, for that matter) that are too used to lie to get out of something. I've known people that compulsively tells whatever comes to mind to get out of a commitment, even if it doesn't make sense.

I agree with dodging a bullet.

Best.

Two more guys I've had pleasant experiences with in the past had booked for this weekend. It was tough making a choice between the two (when it rains, it pours), so I settled on one I hadn't seen in a while (the other was here in January). I texted, he remembered me, and then told me he wasn't going to be in my area this weekend after all - he'll be here in another month.  So I go to the second guy, and his ad had already disappeared.

Life is short. Escorts are plentiful. Pick another flavor.

In my area (RI) escorts are far from plentiful.

Providence is a 20 minute train ride from Boston. Take a ride into town for the weekend….

20 minutes ???? It's more than 20 minutes.  And then when you're dropped off at the depot you have to find your way to the escort, who is never staying in Boston but in a suburb around it (they call everything 'Boston'). So you have to Uber to where they are - and you're adding a lot of money on 'round trip transportation' to the high rate they're charging. Sorry, not an option for me.

I'd rather wait for them to come to my city, and drive to a hotel ten minutes away.
