Gilfson Posted May 15 Posted May 15 What is something that providers do that really grinds your gears?
Nightowl Posted May 15 Posted May 15 Interesting question. Split attention (cellphones) is a biggie that’s well-covered here so I won’t elaborate. For me, the biggest thing that pisses me off is a provider who advertises massage, doesn’t know a thing about massage, and spends five minutes pretending he’s giving a massage before grabbing my dick and acting completely incredulous when I try to slow him down because I really do want a massage. I also hate it when I see a new provider who doesn’t know what I want, doesn’t take the time to ask, and greets me curtly, saying only “get undressed and get on the table” before charging into his set routine. The best massage providers communicate, know what they’re doing, and intersperse therapeutic massage elements with erotic ones, taking care of my muscular kinks and stresses while at the same time keeping me aroused and anticipating what may happen next. I should add that, so far, I’ve only hired for massage, so I haven’t taken the plunge into the full Rentmen experience. + Jamie21, polythome, Johnrom and 3 others 1 5
+ DrownedBoy Posted May 15 Posted May 15 When they act like they're "better" than you simply because they're younger and sexier. On the rare occasions that's happened, I've shot back with questions on how financially secure they are. + Pensant, polythome, pubic_assistance and 8 others 1 1 1 1 1 6

It’s basically my love language and gets me rock hard within seconds. So someone not giving a good massages makes me angry as well! I have a few regulars that I give massages too and while I’m not professionally trained I get good reviews. It always stressed me out not know if I was doing things right or not haha but I guess it just comes natural to some people. I’m actually thinking about going to school for massage soon Johnrom 1

Clients like me who have been getting massages for a long time will appreciate your skills. The fact that you care about what irritates your clients is admirable. Gilfson 1
urbanfetish Posted May 15 Posted May 15 Definitely agree with tardiness and using a cell phone during the massage/encounter. I will add promising/agreeing to preform certain acts when setting up the appointment but then saying "I don't do that" when the time comes. I've had escorts who promise they kiss during emails/texts but then decline while we are in bed. "It's too intimate!" 🙄 I had an escort, who I had specifically hired to bottom for me, decide that he didn't feel like it after we fooled around for about 30 minutes. BonVivant and + DrownedBoy 2

Yeah they should definitely be honest up front with what they are willing and not willing to do. urbanfetish 1

I’m pretty easygoing in these matters and I can let a lot roll off my shoulders—and I have! That said, the one thing that really gets to me is when a provider isn’t fully present, or when there’s an unspoken vibe that I should feel lucky just to be with them. It’s rare, thankfully, but when it happens, it leaves a pretty shitty feeling. Mutual respect and genuine connection—however brief—go a long way. Nightowl, AtticusBK, jackcali and 5 others 3 5

I know why they do it - to secure the deal. However, promising the world and not delivering sours the experience. Fortunately, we have this forum to share our experiences and warn others. Guest Posted May 16 Posted May 16 I agree about the no-shows. Common courtesy is letting the client know that the provider can't come so the client can look for another provider. I usually wait two hours to make sure they're not arriving late. By that time, I'm usually too late to coordinate a second provider. I used to coordinate back-to-back providers because of the flakes. If all of them came through, that made for one fun day.

+ sam.fitzpatrick Posted May 16 Posted May 16 It is close between tardiness and not using my name. Using nicknames is ok as long as at the end of the session my name is used, such as, “I hope you enjoyed our time together as much as I did, Sam. Let me know when you would like an encore.”
+ Pensant Posted May 16 Posted May 16 Oddly enough, I get annoyed when they don’t seem to want to leave when the time is up. I’ve had a few who want to talk for an hour afterward when all I want to do is go to bed! + mds1, BonVivant, polythome and 5 others 1 1 2 4

There's a long list of minor annoyances that come up from time to time...but I would say the most common one that truly pisses me off is the texting in the middle of a massage session. I've literally had guys massaging me with one hand while texting with the other. Edited May 16 by pubic_assistance spelling Danny-Darko, whatahoot8, + KensingtonHomo and 2 others 2 3

In the four years I’ve been hiring, I’ve always given my name but your comment makes me realize that no one has ever called me by that name during a session. …

BrickBuilder Posted May 16 Posted May 16 Lets see, I will list a top 5 list. (And for all you providers out there...I am know that there is the other side of the coin for each of these from your perspective): Being late…and telling me every 10 minutes that he is “on the way only 5 minutes more” Telling me “I get into everything” listing it all (or absolutely nothing) in his on-line profile and then when pushed on it he has a very selective list of what he will actually do with a client. (Or the uncharges start to get tallied). I understand about ‘accidents’ but when a provider tells me he has cleaned out and its very very apparent he did not AND then he says “well all my other clients see my cock and want me to top them so I just assumed that with you also”. UMMM NO….Me Top - You Bottom….which of those 4 words did you not understand? Telling me “you don’t understand how this works” when I can honestly say I have been hiring for several decades and have seen and dealt with pretty much all situations. When being polite and offering to allow a provider to shower/clean up after a session (you know lube can get everywhere after all) I am told that I have to pay for his “personal time in the shower” because that is part of the experience.....ummmm...NO.
