Ive been on Rentmasseur for a few years and never made the leap into posting on Masseurfinder honestly because of the price but I have meet another provider who does both and says the price is worth it. Anyone have the same expereince or thought?

As a client, I find myself assuming the masseurs on Rentmasseur will automatically provide "extras" and the guys on Masseurfinder are more likely to actually give a legit massage. I know that sounds ridiculous, but if I see someone just on Masseurfinder I do assume he does not give out Happy Endings, but on Rentmasseur I assume that they do.

I’ve asked a number of providers who are on both platforms about this. All said essentially the same thing… they get more biz through Masseurfinder even with their more strict rules about therapeutic ad text and non-revealing pics. Along with believing that MF has better SEO bringing up their ads in search engines more than RM, a few felt the therapeutic look and feel was more appealing to nervous first timers and need to be discrete “straight” guys.

So does that mean that the ads on Masseurfinder look more conservative, but the masseurs will actually offer all the extras that you would expect with erotic and sensual massage that you see on RentMasseur?

Might be a case by case basis with every provider

I was in the middle of a massage a while back and he asked me if I would have hired him had he only been on masseurfinder.  I said “probably not”.   But it’s where his advertisement belongs lol.

When I first started hiring masseurs, I went with MF because it seemed a little less frightening to a newbie.  I wasn’t sure what would happen during the session and though I hoped for some sort of sensual services, I wasn’t sure I was ready for a masseur who advertised “erotic” the way providers used to on RMass. In a sense, MF was “introductory.” Once I got comfortable, I branched out to RMass and now that’s pretty much where I look first.  If I were a provider, I would advertise on MF to draw newbies in with the hope that they’ll become regular customers. I would also advertise on RMass at the same time.

I’ve considered advertising on MFinder but the cost seemed prohibitive. I only advertise on RentMasseur and seem to get sufficient business from them. I also advertise on a couple of other UK focused sites (that are free). I guess my pictures and style fit the RentMasseur vibe!

Gay Wellness seems to be trying to thread this needle with their buzz killing "no monkey business" icon.

But this guy's gaywellness ad says "no monkey business" while his rentmasseur ad has a private photo of a tasty banana. This monkey wants the banana. What is a monkey to do?

His gaywellness ad also says this:

Basics of sports and wellness. Chinese Yumeiho. Swedish.Relaxing. Head massage. And others :)

It's those "others" with the smile that tells you he's indeed open to sensual extras.

As a client if I’m in a large metro area I’ll hire from RM as there are usually plenty of choices and it’s clear that at least a HE is on the table. If I’m in a smaller city I’ll expand to MF and inquire if a sensual massage is available.

Having said that I assume if a provider is on MF and not RM he’s likely only providing therapeutic massage.

I am pretty particular about a few physical attributes when hiring and like to get an idea of basic information like height and weight of the practinoneer and unfortunately MF doesn't provide that. :(

As a London based client I used to look at Masseurfinder but rarely do now. It isn't that clear on the extras front but you can usually interpret it on a case by case basis depending on price and language used. For example there's a new guy on there at the moment, who's new to me, who is listing his price as £160 for the hour. No way is that just a therapeutic massage!

But I rarely go on it now because it just doesn't have that many ads compared to RM, currently RM has about 4 times as many for London plus there are many other massage and listings websites available in the UK which seem more popular.

what London listings are the best other than MF and RM? Ive seen Gay Wellness, Massage Me In London, Cityrubs - those last two seem to attract a different, less professional set of providers....

I don't assume anything anymore. I once hired a masseur from MF who was certified and advertised a legit massage. It was a very erotic massage. On back there was ass play and when I turned over he immediately gave me a blow job. I have hired massuers from RM who never take there clothes off and didn't give  a HE. I always inquire what kind of a massage it is as I find one gets more detailed information on the inquiry. It all depends on what kind of massage I am looking for. Just my experience

I do think RentMasseur is the most disorganized glitchy site in comparison to masseurfinder. Each time I do a search on rentmasseur for the same parameters or the same city. I get different results. And they frequently do not display all possible masseurs. It’s so bizarre. What looks to be a new masseur will pop up who on on I’ve never seen before. Come to find out he’s been on the site for two years. And in those two years, I’ve never seen his profile. Also, what I really like about MasseurFinder that RentMasseur does not have is the ability to filter for “new profiles”

I used to use Masseurfinder years ago when 1) it gave more information about non-legitimate massages than it does now and 2)I'm not sure whether RM was in existence then or if it was, I didn't know about it. I think the last time I hired -years ago-I used RM.

+1. Assuming can get you into trouble.

I feel like I've answered this question before. I'd be curious to know the numbers between the 2 sites, which of course will never happen. I do view both sites, but in the past decade, I only hire from RentMasseur. MasseurFinder offers no internal email system. Since I do not text, the email service on RM is a gift. I value it. If MF offered an internal email service, then I would hire from both sites, and take more chances on a new guy. I'm surprised MF charges more than RM, because from my perspective, they are not offering more for that money.

@kyleham said it best, you never know what can happen until you get on the table/bed naked. The ad site makes little difference. It seems to me, building a word-of-mouth reputation matters far more than where you decide to place an ad. If you truly enjoy what you do, if you're talented, word will spread quickly, no matter where your ad is.

FWIW, sexy photos matter a lot. I prefer the photo software that RM uses, because the photos enlarge to my screen size. MF's photos are smaller, but there software program has improved over the years.
