I first got on hookup apps in 2020. For a while, I alternated between Grindr and Sniffies.

It's common to see people say in their profile, "I don't wanna see your hole! 🤮" Many people seem to find that very unattractive.

I used to think that way also. Those kinds of pics grossed me out.

Recently, I have changed my tune on this. Now, as I'm scrolling through X or Bluesky, I find hole pics pretty sexy.

What are y'all's thoughts on this?

Nothing comes from them? I get quite a bit out of these threads and have a lot of fun reading the responses.I agree different people have different opinions. That's why I ask questions like this to elicit those opinions and see what people think on the topics. I plan on starting a hell of a lot more threads just like this because I'm actually curious what people think and how they've come to their ideas, rather than burying it under the blanket statement of "different strokes for different folks." I don't plan on ever being so boring as to stop asking questions.

Thanks for your contributions. Funny enough, you did expose an interesting rationale that I had never thought of, that a man's hole is his most vulnerable part, so the act of exposing it is thrilling in itself. Also, you open up the door to a debate about hairy versus not.

For me, I can go either way.

To me depends on what I'm looking at. I do like hole pictures, but not of those with hemorrhoids, those showing the inside out, those that are stretched looking like you can park your car there, or those that show fecal matter or traces of.

I like ass, hairy, not hairy doesn't matter to me. And just like with penis, size doesn't matter to me either.

When guys post unsolicited pics of various body parts - holes or whatever - they’re doing it for themselves not for the viewer. Whether some will like to see it or be repulsed is not of much concern to the pic poster. The important thing is to be seen.

What a topic...lol.   I think the reason it appears to be so unattractive is it runs against the grain on what is appropriate.    A "hole"  picture might be getting the "cart before the horse"  so to speak.     Some may say that "holes"  are not all that different,  while the men who have them may vary widely.    Who knows?

For me personally,  I'm not offended,  but I do think they should come with other photos,    not as a "stand alone"....lol

In general, I’d say I have a mildly negative reaction to “hole shots”. Afterall, everyone’s got one. Yours isn’t special.

And if it is “special”, I’m not sure I want to see that mess.

What can be misleading when seeing one's hole in photos is just how "worn" it is. The accusation that just from looking at one that it "must be too used" isn't true. There are men who've had hundreds upon hundreds of cocks up their ass, both real and fake, that still can be a tight grip to drive tops wild. Then, there can be ones that look like a cock has never entered the backdoor ever that are loosy goosy. 

I have no objection to men showing what's between the cheeks. I DO have a massive problem with men who do that, but don't allow any kind of interaction with it on any level. If it's closed for business, don't "open".
