I used to work with fashion companies in NYC. Several of the models told me they escorted on the side, but only through a discreet organization like you described. Many years later when I was married with babies at home, I would hire from one of these agencies for a boy's night out. 

I'm not personally a big consumer of porn, but what porn stars and well-known escorts DO come across my notice here on the site VERY different from what would be identified as male "supermodels" in the fashion industry. Maximum! They were the cream of the crop back then.
