How many massages would you estimate you’ve had (total)?

I have to imagine that I’ve had a couple hundred in my life. 
 

For a stretch, I would get at least once per week. My peak day was 3 in one day. 
 

I have one nearly every time I can find a spa in another country. 
 

I’ve had massages in the U.S., Mexico, Canada, Ireland, England, Singapore, Philippines, China, Thailand and Korea. 
 

Is this normal?

I have had only a couple of dozen in my entire life, and they were all strictly therapeutic. I have never had one that involved sexual stimulation.

I've had about 500 massages over the past 18 years.  I usually get one massage per month or every other month at home, and usually get one every other day while traveling.  I usually travel at least once per month.

Three massages in one day? One hour each? Is there a backstory? That’s definitely not the norm. I’ve had one massage that lasted three hours, but it was a single session.

Yes. First one was not that good and I declined the happy ending because I wanted a better experience. 
 

So I went to a different spa that turned out didn’t offer happy endings. Then I scheduled one at a guaranteed spot and the funny part is that I asked for just 30 minutes and when he entered the room, I was already laying on my back. Lol.

I've had 2 massages in one day in Puerto Vallarta.  The massages are much cheaper down there, and the first massage I had was mediocre at best so, like you, I went to another place afterwards for an additional massage.

Prior to COVID I was only getting occasional massages.  Since 2020, I try to get a massage every four to six weeks.

I'd say 85% of them were great; I'd find a great guy or try someone new who turned out to be solid but for whatever reason I'd see them again.

One guy made it clear to me that he had a gun; but he was way bigger and stronger than me. Not sure why he felt the need to show that. Two or three other guys that gave me vibes telling me to never go back and I'd be lucky to get out with my life.

The city is suing to close down 28 Men’s Spa on the West Side, claiming in court documents filed Wednesday that the spa’s roster of masseurs offered “manual stimulation of the penis” to three undercover cops during separate incidents last summer.

I know that I belong to a very clear minority, but I just dislike massages. Therapeutic or sexual, I simply hate them. Even my husband says I don’t know what I am missing, but I don’t understand their appeal. My loss. 🤷🏻

Same here. I work out a lot, so I need deep tissue massages from licensed professionals. I don’t want massages from my providers.

Not too many. I used to treat myself once a year in my vacation. The massage was part of a vacation pampering day (I'd get a haircut, pedicure, manicure and massage). I "discovered" (or paid attention for the first time) to erotic massages last year, and at first I got one once a week, then I started being more picky, want the masseur to know what he's doing, so I now have a group of masseurs I contact about once or twice a month. I prefer quality in the experience rather than letting the appearance of the masseur be the driver of my decision. After all, a bad massage can hurt my body.
