Is that a home at top? That is amazing.

Why are all of you paying hundreds of dollars for rooms when you can stay in Palm Springs for a fraction of the price? Get an Airbnb or camp somewhere... I mean, I assume you're all trustworthy and decent enough people to share accommodations with each other. Why not split the expense? Because: clients (and working boys) value privacy. getting a bunch of gay men to commit to anything (much less as far in advance as would be necessary) is a total non-starter. ditto the above point, inserting “with significant financial stakes” and its a double non-starter. traditions run deep. Men attending like doing what’s familiar, convenient, easy, and comfortable. clients have varying tastes, priorities, preferences, and budgets. hard to beat the atmosphere at InnDulge and other nearby hotels. how many people can possibly fit in one large AirBnB? A dozen? Way more attend Among so many other reasons I won’t bother to jot down. The above are more than enough With that said, I’m open to going in on an AirBnB in the future. The organizers manage to pull off communal meals in an orderly manner. I see no reason we couldn’t do the same for a big place. That place would have to be selected by one volunteer party, not a large ‘committee’ of everyone having an opinion or complaint about which one and where and how much $ and so on. + azdr0710, MikeBiDude, + Charlie and 5 others 4 4

jayjaycali Posted April 4 Posted April 4 (edited) If there's any evening informal bar outings or groups I'd be happy to join socially 😎. I usually only attend the Sunday pool gathering. Edited April 4 by jayjaycali + azdr0710 and Simon Suraci 1 1

Easiest way to organize that would be right here. Anyone wanting to go to the Toolshed for Happy hour on next Friday? Hunters has two for one 6 dollar well drinks on Friday iif that is more appealing. Also go-go boys at Hunters. Parking would likely be tough so if you are voting for Hunters car pooling is probably best. Edited April 4 by purplekow + azdr0710, SlimJim, nate_sf and 2 others 4 1

I'm going to confess something: I've only been to a gay bar at night once years and years ago, and I didn't have a good time because I was drinking by myself. If we go in a group, I might be tempted to come along for the ride just for the experience. But why is parking tough? If it's a small parking loot, can't we just park in the street?

Hunters is the one with the go go boys and that is in the middle of the gay area. Friday night in a gay neighborhood with cheap booze. You could have 10000 psrking spots and it would still be tough to find a spot. If you are willing to walk a few blocks, things get easier. So carpool. Drop off the passenger and drivers fend for themselves is the plan. I think Hunters is a better choice just because there are a bunch of bars in the area and if you dont like it there, you can move on alone or with a group. So I will ask opnly those who think they are likely to come to decide. Hunters. Go Go Boys and parking issues Toolshed. Less of a parking issue and there is an outside area. Reports of temps in the low 100s for next week Another bar if you care to decide. If you want to come but don't care or don't know, Vote abstain and that way we can get an idea of the number of people. mwriter I suggest you come on down Another idea that might be good, one year I bought about $100 dollars worth of liquor, well it had alcohol in it and some mixers and brought it into the Canyon Club. We had about 20 guys sitting around the pool and had our own happy hour. It seems InnDulge is the popular place this year so we could do that if someone is will to lay out the original investment in the alcohol. Also, would need to check out that the management does not have policy against such a gathering. Edited April 5 by purplekow + m_writer, jayjaycali, SlimJim and 2 others 5

+ m_writer Posted April 5 Posted April 5 I’ve never been to Hunters and seen go-go boys so that sounds good! And we’ll be experiencing a heat wave in SoCal next week so I’ll be prepared for hot weather even at night. if we do something at the pool of InnDulge instead I will bring my homemade lemon bars we can all enjoy. + sf westcoaster 1
