Now infamous?  I reckon he's as famous as he was before his arrest -- that is to say, he's famous to consumers and promoters of gay porn but probably no one outside of those circles (with the exception of now law enforcement) ever knew who he was.

Oddly, I was just watching some random videos from the "red carpet" at the last GAYVN awards and Austin Wolf was one of the performers interviewed.  There was a brief exchange where he was asked about being on a no-fly list and he said it was all a mistake and he's able to fly again.  That was in January of this year, so about 6 months before his arrest.  A quick Google search reveals that he has a preliminary hearing later this month (continued from an earlier date), so apparently some plea deal negotiation is going on.

His fame was always in certain circles, and I think his infamy is mainly in those same circles. But 'infamous' is certainly an apt description now.

D'oh.  I don't know why my mind wasn't working earlier when I basically equated "infamous" with "no longer famous" versus its actual meaning, which is basically well known for bad reasons.

Last I heard his lawyers are working on a plea-deal.

Since "Austin" wasn't producing the material ( as far as I know ) the investigators are probably exchanging a lighter sentence for information on the sources of the kiddie porn.

I did notice some of his videos were being featured on tube sites. Never had any interest in his work before or after the allegations.

@pubic_assistance is correct. At the two pre-trial conferences (July and August) both the ADA and Wolf's attorney asked the judge for additional time to determine whether they could work out a plea agreement. The next pre-trial conference is scheduled for the end of September. Meanwhile, Wolf remains locked behind bars at MDC.

Aside from the charges he's facing, there are many other shortcomings that make him someone I'd say should be avoided at all costs.

But it makes you wonder if the same persons he has worked should be extended the same policy, too. The content creator industry is a small world and I am sure word goes around, yet some of the high profile creators were still working with him.

He was banned from OnlyFans for a policy violation. He doesn't care about ethics in sex work a whole lot.

Next pre-trial court date now set for October 28th.
