I don't understand. What is so peculiar with the over 65 that requires specific escorts. My taste is the same now with when I was 20 and it will be the same when I am over 65. I just don't get it. Please enlighten me.

I saw a client recently who was I guess around 65. He told me he specifically chose guys who said they welcomed all ages, or who he inferred from their advertising that that would be the case, which he said was the reason he chose me.

He told me some guys have that look of disappointment when they first see him and that kills the mood for him which I found understandable. It’s that first impression that matters for him.

Ageism. Some providers do discriminate and treat men of certain age differently, and that include providers who are over 40. Age discrimination has been quite common in this world and in the gay community in general for quite some time now. You might not be too aware because it might not be in your mind, that might not be how you think, but it's present.

THIS!  I don't think it's age-dependent.  Sometimes, a client is happy with a totally mechanical interaction and doesn't really care about the provider's attitude (that's me from time to time), but a provider's obvious disappointment at first meeting ruins the possibility of forming a real connection with him and poisons the experience.  One of the talents of a professional escort is not showing any disappointment and in fact showing enthusiasm for the session on first meeting.  The logical side of the client's brain knows the provider is there for the money, but the emotional side wants to think that the provider is enjoying the time.

Thank you @Jamie21 and @soloyo215. Yes it was obvious, silly of me. 

When people in general ask me how old I am, I shamelessly say 10 years less and so far it works. With escorts and hookups I send my photos, so no questions, no lies. And I like young guys 18-25.

This is confusing as to what it is that you don't get. It seems obvious that a client doesn't want to be in the company with someone who doesn't want at all to have an older client. I just a couple of days ago saw a guy's ad that typed "nobody over the age of 59".

If you don't get it the other way around, providers run the gamut of being open to business from anyone who is of legal age, to people who flat out refuse to see people based not only on their age being too high, but their race, political persuasion, height etc. That's their business to be limiting, and our business to avoid them.

Yes, I see ads with age limits and I think it's ok. We all have preferences. I also think it makes sense for escorts to ask for pics. I always send at the start of the conversation.

I don’t know why I can never get the search function to work on this site, but there was an Exmormon provider who specifically discouraged inquiries from 60+ individuals.  I think that’s fair.  Certainly turned me off.

When YMMV, I would want to avoid the gas guzzlers.
