If the meeting is confirmed I will usually send a face pic as a courtesy. It just helps the escort know a little more about who will be coming to his hotel room or apartment. (We forget that they take a chance as well, letting strangers into their space.) And for some reason it makes me less nervous.

I’ve no problem sending my pics to clients if they ask. I’ve got pics on my website and where I advertise plus I can send them links to lots of videos of me on the web if they want to see. I figure that the better they know who they’re coming to meet the better the session will be. It’s pointless me seeing someone who isn’t comfortable and a waste of money for them. I don’t need or request pics from the client.

This is the converse of the OP’s question, but I am curious what providers and clients think about a PROVIDER who does not offer a clear face pic.  This seems to be a common practice to one degree or another.  Some providers may only do so once they have determined that a potential client is serious or confirmed, others will not do it at all.  I see so many RM profiles of just body and dick pics or pics with blurred faces.  I assume it is because some providers do not want the public to know the line of work they are in, but as a potential client it is rare that I hire someone whose face I have not seen, even though I would not share a picture of myself.

Gracious! Seems like I'm behind the times, but I do not share my stats or photo with a man I hire. For me, part of the hiring process is I am freed from dangling my bait with the hopes that a man find me appealing. I also try to keep tight control over disseminating my image -- even facial -- with not just anyone who asks. Hiring for me is not Match.com or Tinder. With an escort, it's my CASH that is absolutely gorgeous.

That is the case for many men.

And certain providers DO have the skills to do whatever with whomever.

The five-star Instagram models don't need to, so they don't.

Shop where appropriate and you won't be disappointed.

In general for me, if a provider asks me for stats or pics, he usually has some sort of hangup. Recently a White provider asked for my stats/pic, I asked him if he had any type of hangup. He told me he can’t get hard for Black or Indian men. I told him I’m pretty ethnic, thanked him for letting me know ahead of time, and moved on.

Exactly - it’s not one size fits all.

And if some providers have a specific problem with certain groups - age / body type / ethnicity etc.,  you can’t force them to play with you if they don’t want to. Better to confront any suspicion of a provider with a potential problem rather than skirt around it and either have an unsatisfactory experience or even the door slammed in your face (I know of a few people who have experienced various odd scenarios in this regard as I have shared here before including with providers well reviewed here).

Photos aren’t the only way providers screen - and if there are really problems for them they’ll likely figure out how to reduce their discomfort (which must be significant enough to walk away from earnings).

Thank you for sharing your experience.

He saved both of you time, and he doesn’t deserve your money (not necessarily saying he should be financially penalized - but he shouldn’t collect donations for his time if he can’t perform). I have an Asian friend who had the door slammed in his face when he showed up for an appointment followed by an abusive rant heard from the other side. I know of someone aged 50 something who was called “grandpa” by a provider who canceled having fixed and appointment having researched the client. You don’t have to be into everyone and you don’t have to serve them if you don’t want to / can’t. But you don’t have to treat them With disrespect.

The thing is, legalese aside (I doubt he can say on RM “no blacks, no Indians”) I’d prefer an open marketplace where people compete and face the consequences of being unable to overcome their hang ups. For the (I hope) majority of providers who could service those groups - there should be a competitive advantage that this provider sees play out.

You are hiring the client and not vice versa and for reasons closely linked to their physical appearance.

When you go to see a doctor it is appropriate for you to confirm their academic credentials. Yours are irrelevant.

More than one provider has told me something on the lines of … “no offense, but I don’t really care what you look like …”.

I believe if anyone did do an analysis, they WOULD find that a provider blessed with the ability to fuck anything that moves, IS getting more consistent work daily than one who prefers to service a more select group. The exception would be those Instagram model types who can charge $500 an hour and don't need to spread their asscheecks open multiple times a day to make rent.
