Rate question (no its not what you think)

...Often, when an escort quotes me 300 or 350 an hour, I simply ask, "Would 500 be good for 2 hours then?" Although there's something of a "discount" involved, I usually don't get turned down or get a "compromised experience," since most providers offer that anyway. And if they don't, I'm not haggling over it.

My experience is that most guys (not all, but most) will offer a "session rate" as @MikeBiDude called it. Typically, I'll ask "what are your rates for one, two, and three hours?" It gives them the opportunity to offer a "session rate" without me having to ask about a "discount."

However I do sometimes suggest to those guys that if they’re happy to be filmed as a volunteer in my massage porn movies on justforfans then that’s  possible (subject to release forms etc).

In which case surely the takeaway lesson is, try negotiating it won’t do you any harm …

The thing is - I often ask providers what their 1 and 2 hour rates are, and I cannot recall a single instance where they also gave me their 2-hour rate. They only give me their 1 hour rate. No idea what that always happens.

Hmm - for me, guys always reply with either their 2-hour rate or that they don't offer multi-hour rates at less than their hourly times the number of hours.

This often works for me as well…I call it a “session rate” when discussing with the provider.

Guys.... 500 for 2 hour is common!

Exactly!

"How much do you charge?" And they will reply for their 1-hour rate assuming that's what you're asking, unless you openly say you want 2 hours, an overnight, etc.

There is a lot of talk on here that a lower rate will mean a lesser experience, the provider will short you on time, he'll be located in a seedy hotel, etc.    I have never found that to be the case at all.   That's exactly what they want you to think.  Some/most of my best hires were actually with guys that are fairly new to the industry and trying to build up their client base or just simply offer their services at a lower price point.  The rate is definitely not a good indicator of quality in my opinion.

No...I mean the exchange goes like this:

"What is your donation for 1 or 2 hour sessions?"

"300 an hour"

This always happens, as if the kid didn't bother reading the whole text. Which is why I started, after getting the hourly rate, to offer the 500/2 hour, which as everyone here has noted, is pretty standard.

But that's not really the gist of what's being said.

It's about haggling, getting your price and then wondering if the escort is giving you 100%.

What you're describing are newbies with lower rates trying to garner a circle of repeat clientele (which is smart).
