Masseur vs Escort: which one is better?

Which one of the two is better if you decide to become one when it cones to benefits, cons, etc.?

I don’t think that can be answered based simply on which is “better”. Some masseurs would loathe escort work, some escorts would not want to do massage work. Granted, sites like RMass have given the opportunity to skew those lines a bit, but regardless it’s not the same.

What I will say is, in some…MANY parts of the country: Mass is easier to gain bookings than escorting. Because we’re still stuck in the 1800s, some men feel differently about massages versus companionship. In my area, most all my requests are for that.

Only difference: the expectations of price for massage can be lower than that of providing. I know some people offer, and some clients even go to: guys who charge $80 for a rub and tug. But it’s not sustainable for everyone unless they have the volume and/or extra income. And even if they did: that don’t mean it’s going to work for everybody. Just because one guy asks $80, doesn’t mean you slag off the next guy who asks $300.

There used to be a defined line between Craigslist and Rentboy. Now, it’s just a thin line between rentmass and rentmen.

This is good advice. The line is thin and in some instances they overlap. Ultimately you have to be comfortable with what you choose, because if you’re not then you won’t be successful at it. You can’t fake any of it for any length of time and hope for clients to come back.

Example I advertise as a masseur, although I think I include many things that would fall into the escort arena. Some escorts include massage although for that to be credible with clients it’s better to have some massage skills.

If you’re going to be a masseur get some massage training and do it properly (table, oils etc) and decide what your limits are and your price point.

There’s lots of other considerations, such as knowing your market, legal issues, health precautions, advertising. Do it properly, as in with a professional approach and enjoy it as a great job or don’t do it atall and save yourself (and those clients unfortunate enough to hire you) the pain.

From a client standpoint, I think the most important thing is to pick a lane and stay in it, for the masseur industry seems to have been decimated the last few years by escorts who have little to no massage skills, yet can't stayed booked at their higher escort rate, so they advertise as being both and offer a lame excuse for a massage for about half the price.

Bottom line - it takes a lot of focus, education in anatomy and flow, and in-person guiding from a skilled pro to actually become a bodyworker, and for me, at least 3 years experience. I love good massage with or without any erotic element.

To become an escort, it can take as little as good lighting. 🤣

This is all marketing to hungry (sloppy hole) bottoms.

I couldn't care less IF you HAD a dick...so the size matters zero to me, since I've RARELY ever bottomed for an escort.

Of course it is! Everything is marketing 😉.
Size matters to tops too, some clients like to see a big dick on the guy that’s riding them.

Never understood that.

I think it might be to do with guys assuming that because you’re hung you’re only a top. So it gets them off by seeing you enjoying bottoming for them. I’m not certain of that because the more I work with human sexuality the more I realise how multi faceted it is, almost beyond understanding, but so interesting to explore.

plenty of escorts who are averagely endowed. it's not a requirement by any means.

Thank you for saying that. I am far more satisfied bottoming for average sized pro tops. It allows me to use the muscles to do some periodic squeezing and tightening to improve his pleasure. (Large dicks just stretch me open, and I'm unable to clench/squeeze at all).
