I did a double take when I read that, and had to google to find a different meaning of 'bonking' from the usual one in Australian and British English.

We use "boinking" for THAT in the US...

Just started Zepbound and holy shit, this is a gamechanger. I feel like I could go 48 hours without eating and not care. I also am not "bonking" during long workouts. Is this what skinny-without trying people feel like all the time? Week 1 I am losing weight much faster than simple caloric deficit would suggest...I'm definitely shedding a lot of water.

Actually I'm an American, and I had the same idea as @mike carey did about 'bonking'. I have no idea what it means in an athletic sense.

@sniper is this what you meant?

"In sports

In endurance sports like cycling and running, "bonk" is a term for the sudden, severe fatigue that occurs when the body's glycogen stores are depleted. "

Yes. Like when you get on the treadmill or bike and start to exert yourself and your body just goes "Nope, not today."

Sorry to pick nits, but there's a minor mistake in your post.  It should read, "Like when you look at the treadmill or bike and your body just goes "Nope, not today."
