You really do not believe what you posted (I hope).

Realistically, who would pay a stranger (escort) to meet and only pay for time?

I know that prostitution is illegal in the United States, and I know it's therefore only legal to pay for TIME.

What happens between two consenting adults while otherwise contracted for time spent is a private matter and not

under any contract of exchange of money for sex.

My advice remains though, don’t pay deposit unless you’re prepared to lose the money.

My philosophy as well. On the 1 or 2 occasions when the escort was respected enough for me to be willing to place a deposit, I prepared to get stood up, and praised them for honestly showing up.

You don't seem to understand discretion when discussing this matter.

With the world of meta-data I highly recommend that people NOT publish documented evidence of illegal activity.

The escort's rentmen advertisement speaks volumes.  Many escort ads go into graphic details of what an escort is offering.

Do you really think any judge in a court would think a client only bought "time" after seeing the related rentmen advertisement? f27e7f0e44285e5eb4c1866c32cba31e.jpg

I’ll never pay a deposit.

snip

I have heard of providers who have been cheated by clients.

Any statistics on which is the bad guy, i.e., the provider or the client (cheats who)?

If I were a betting person, I would bet that the provider cheats far more than any client.

Imho, paying upon arrival, I.e. paying someone before they have earned it, is a matter of dignity, which is too high a price to pay. It's supposed to be fun. Focus on that & all should be well.

What George Carlin once said (paraphrasing:)  Why is it illegal to sell something that is legal to giveaway.

Oh, you can legally buy it. You just have to pay with fancy meals and gifts.

Never pay upfront. If a guy is asking for money upfront it’s not a good sign. If the guy is professional and confident he can deliver what he is paid for, he has no reasons to request the money upfront.

Try to explain that to providers who insist on advance payments.

It’s not hard at all……just repeat after me…."no thank you".

If you start the meeting with the provider on a negative note (refusing to pay in advance) who knows what kind of lousy experience you can expect from the provider.

There are too many reports of deposits and advance payments going wrong.

And you believe this?

One of my regular had a pretty scary situation last fall in Charlotte. He was threatened with violence and did not get what was agreed upon.

If a provider waits until you arrive to tell you that they expect payment
upfront, you’re already in for a crappy experience. Acquiescing to their sudden
request for payment up front isn’t going to change that. The date is already
fucked up and I refuse to reward shady business practices.

I’ve never had someone ask for $$ upfront and had it end well. Yes,
after I politely say "no thank you" I fully expect them to turn tail and
leave. The scam has been exposed. They have nothing to gain.

I have agreed ahead of time to showing the $$ on arrival. There is a
small risk in that I’ll admit, but I’m a fairly large/strong man and it’s one
I am sometimes willing to take. Especially, if I get the vibe that the request
is in earnest. I’m not saying that it can’t happen, but I’ve never gotten
burned in that scenario.

I have no problem with escorts who say they require the money upfront,
as long as they tell me ahead of time. I will politely decline the appointment
and move on to the next provider. I wish them no ill will. It is their business
to run as they see fit. Unfortunately, I will not be one of their clients.

If that pisses them off…..I know I just dodged a bullet.
