Luv2play Posted December 27, 2020 Posted December 27, 2020 Le Creuset and Staub are better than Martha Stewarts and Cooks dutch ovens. I love my set of Le Creuset. They are the kind of utensils you leave to someone in your will, as they will never wear out. Needless to say, they don't come cheap. alrajee, Penn7 and harlow 3

+ sync Posted December 27, 2020 Posted December 27, 2020 Tools, both for house repairs and gardening (especially gardening). Chocolate, for both baking and snacking. Real maple syrup versus maple "flavored" syrup. Same for vanilla. Pure cane sugar is superior to beet sugar for baking. I've also noticed a better result when baking with higher priced flours. It cost a fortune but I've the same Miele vacuum for 15 years. Same for my Kichenaid Professional stand mixer and Wustolf knives (my step father was a meat cutter so I learned how to use a wet stone and honing steel as a kid). Luggage Regarding escorts and masseurs, in general my most memorable sessions have been with providers on the lower end of the fee scale. I have the same model KitchenAid mixer. If it were personified, I might propose. ❤ MikeBiDude 1

JayCeeKy Posted December 27, 2020 Posted December 27, 2020 Just about ANY home repair - get an expert who knows what they're doing (and bills for their expertise) rather than the guy on Craigslist or somebody's uncle. Don't ask me how I learned this. alrajee 1
lonely_john Posted December 27, 2020 Posted December 27, 2020 PRIVATE HEALTH CARE, especially PLASTIC SURGEONS and ESTHETICIANS. You don't want to be cheap and end up with your face/body botched. Also, there is a huge difference when one invests a few more dollars in quality food. I'm a grocery shopping wh*re so I will add the items where I usually pay more for quality: - Dairy, especially Organic. - Charcuterie. - Grapes and Cherries. - Wines and Chocolates. And Yes, SHOES and ESCORTS too. MikeBiDude 1
EastbayMike Posted December 27, 2020 Posted December 27, 2020 Champagne? Caviar? Vacuums? Shoes? Butter? This thread is pure elitist porn. I wanna fuck all of you! Yes please!
spider Posted December 27, 2020 Posted December 27, 2020 I agree regarding ?’s. I’m a bit of a shoe whore and I always splurge for good shoes. Cheap shoes can cause damage to your feet IME... True. I adore Ferragamos, fit like a glove, I was walking on air. But then they priced them out of all human comprehension. Daverwr 1

Kerry gold is certainly a step up from Amurrican crap, but is only a gateway drug to real French buerre. Bought in any grocery in Paris. If you freeze it before you pack it will survive a trip home in checked baggage and is legal. The same brand in the US is crap. keefer 1
marylander1940 Posted December 27, 2020 Posted December 27, 2020 But it could. A drugged out street hustler giving a blow job while chewing gum might be outdone by a professional escort giving a blow job for $100, all the time thinking of your pleasure.

As long as it’s actual Chanpagne, there are many many great labels, so ignore the mass market stuff- hint, unless it’s the Grande Dame, Veuve isn’t very good. Krug will hit the spot. Best memory, buying Champagne from a wine merchant in Paris for New Year’s Eve after discussing options in French. + MysticMenace 1
Luv2play Posted December 27, 2020 Posted December 27, 2020 Art books, just spent three hundred dollars on a three volumn set of paintings by Matisse at the Barnes Foundation. Oh, they must be lovely. I enjoy having art books as well. To save money, I have bought many in the second hand market and as a result have more than I could otherwise afford to spend the money on. + WilliamM 1

When I was young it went for just over $100 but now that I am older, it is still out of reach. Of course, I could buy a bottle and settle in for the night to drink it, but for the money, I would rather hire an escort to blow off my socks.

MikeBiDude Posted December 27, 2020 Posted December 27, 2020 How many days aged. We need specifics! When I dry age my own - yes I own a small dry aging unit - I go 18-21 days for boneless Prime NY strips, longer up to 30-40 days for Prime bone-rib strip. I’ll try longer dry aged at restaurants but my fellow foodie friends and I like the timing above. Twice recently I’ve dry aged pekin ducks, about 7-10 days, really amazing results! + WilliamM, + Lucky and + Pensant 3
Luv2play Posted December 27, 2020 Posted December 27, 2020 Better. Do both and let the Don blow off the escort’s socks. “Make me feel so funny, Make me spend my money”

marylander1940 Posted December 27, 2020 Posted December 27, 2020 I received as a gift nice 1000 thread count sheets and they do feel luxurious and more comfortable compared to the cheap ones I had before. What are other things that are significantly better at slightly higher price ranges? What else have I been missing? (Most interestingly, this trend does not apply to escorts) Depends... sometimes a cheaper price is too good to be true and whatever you buy is fake. My hobby is hiring, I would like to believe I'm thrifty on others things. In your place I would exchange the bedsheets for a gift card and sell it on ebay or use it for something else. Of course unless the bedsheets guarantee you a great sleep. ?
