Many of them have been laid off due to the virus. Even union members have gotten a raw deal. Children still need to eat and the bills dont take holiday. Have you seen more openness amongst these kinds of men?

At first I thought they'd might be but then I saw they were actually not. Most of their jobs are socially distant by nature and interaction and payment is done at a distance or on line so nothing has really changed with their work I've found. The only workers I've noticed affected have been Walmart employees. Super Walmart's are no longer 24hrs, cutting worker's hours and cashiers have been done away with with Self Checkout Machines. No longer do they have night stockers stocking shelves but have then do it during the day when store is full of customers. It used to be a pleasure to shop after midnight when really hot hunky buffed younger night workers where hauling and stocking merchandise and they seemed more polite and helpful than the day shift crew. Other than that I've noticed no other workers in my area laid off. Most people with office jobs are working from home thanks to computers and cell phones. Maybe things might be different elsewhere but it seem like everybody has adapted to the new realities we live in. Job losses seemed only at the beginning of the pandemic when all was new.

Danny i know what you mean. I used to love watching them unload the trucks at the grocery store at midnight for the supermarket. The guys would wear wifebeaters since store was closed(but my gym in the sane shopping center was open). Man I tell you it was a dream to watch. If congress doesnt pass aid we may see these guys become ripe for generosity.

Don’t fall getting off that high horse.

Nobody is coercing anyone into anything. If the guy advertises then, 1) He’s not 100% straight; 2) He made the offer.

If someone says “I’m down on my luck. I’ll suck your dick for $50” are we supposed to delve into whether he’s straight, gay, bi, why is he doing this? Does he have a family he’s trying to feed? A mortgage? Fuck all that, let me get my rocks off and here’s your 50 spot.

Consider a different shade of lipstick for your pig. Neither the thread title nor any of the previous postings mentioned or even suggested the subjects advertised.

Ignorance and unwarranted certainty aren't the best bases for forming or expressing judgements. Blanket statements that anyone who advertises is "not 100% straight" reflect a lack of understanding of the lengths some people will go to when they are desperate to make a living for themselves and/or their families.

While I would not want to exploit a straight man who is “down on his luck” by paying him for sexual services, I have always been turned on by the situation which used to prevail in London decades ago when members of the guard protecting the royal family outside the gates of Buck House or other military types made themselves available for sexual favours to gay men who would meet them at pubs in the surrounding areas of London. These types of transactions were seen as mutually beneficial where the providers were lowly paid civil servants, so to speak.

This practice went back to when homosexuality was illegal in Britain but tolerated by society as long as you were not caught. If you read about the era, there was a lot of hanky-panky which was relatively safe for the people involved. What was more dangerous was to be a public figure caught “in flagrant” in a public washroom where no money was exchanged. I forget his name but a famous British actor was caught and it delayed his receiving a knighthood by years. Gasp.

My view is that coercing straight men into homosexual intimacies in exchange for some funds necessary to feed/shelter/medically provide for their families is flat-out wrong.

Is making an offer that helps them out financially considered coercing? I have helped many straight guys out and they return on their own so it must be ok with them. I've even had one baby momma call me asking if her baby daddy can come back over because he needs to pay the rent.

I see no problem with these arrangements. They are free to say no, I'm not threatening to beat them up if they don't comply.

Interesting discussion,

What I find ironic is that the concerns of exploiting men who are down and out, for sex, seems to go out of the window when people are traveling the globe , paying “sex workers” pennies on the dollar, for sexual entertainment..... As a matter of fact, there was literally a thread on this forum about professional escorts in the US being too “expensive”, and how it’s just wonderful to get cheap sex in 2nd and 3rd world nations.

Those guys in Brazil, Bangkok, and other places are feeding their families too...

Getting any joy out of getting sex out of a man for a couple of bucks, because he’s desperate, broke, and down on his luck, says far

more about your character, than it does about the desperate guy’s plight....

It’s exploitation. It’s an absolute creep move, and delves into troll status.

No offense,

But I would never want someone to have sex with me because they are rock-bottom-desperate.

If the only action you can get is from waving some change in a desperate man’s face, I pity you.

How much lower can one set the bar of decorum?

What’s next? Giving change to crackhead panhandlers in exchange for sex?

I’m scared to know some of your answers.... ?

I’m guessing you’re literally on your knees at the nearest crack house, waiting for the next addict who needs a fix, so you can get yours?

Classy.... oh so Classy.... ?

It's not like I'm hanging out at unemployment offices trolling guys. One guy advertised on rent men and had a friend who needed money and hooked us up. Another guy had a cousin that wanted to make some extra cash. I cannot think of one guy that didn't hit me up to come back over. These aren't desperate guys, mostly they are lazy and will do a little sex work each month because it's easy and pays well. Especially when they don't want a 9 to 5 job.

Good grief it's not like I'm flashing a few Benjamins at homeless guys!

It just came to me. Sir John Guilgud.

Since you have asked me: making offers that help them out financially is admirable, it is the nature of your reciprocal demands that renders your offers hypocritical. If your targets were/are destitute homosexuals, it would be less of an abomination, but not much.

Well it’s holiday time!!!

I’m sure some of you will start trolling around Shelters and Missions, seeing what hot & homeless guys are looking to give up the goods for a hot meal...

SMH.....

I guess some just love preying on those they see as desperate. Does a straight guy need to be penniless with a baby-mama and out of luck to fulfill the fantasy? I hope not.

It’s was great of you to help your friend. You know good and well that’s not what we’re talking about here.
