There is a good portion of Puerto Ricans and Cubans who descend directly from Europeans, mostly Spaniards. Racial segregation in those 2 countries have produced cover-model looks like Ricky Martin who is Puerto Rican, or William Levy who is Cuban. Handsome white men from Puerto Rico and Cuba have received far more attention from American media thanks to their whiteness, and the protection they have received from the US government. Dominicans, not so much, as they are also definitely more mixed (White, Black and Indigenous) but not for that less delicious. Alex Rodriguez a prime example. Of course there are much better men in every cited country. ?

Strange. I haven't watched the video but all Ricans and Cubans I hooked up with while on Florida were white, and it was them who told me these stories. You could also notice it with just the people on the streets.

Their upper class entirely moved to Florida after the revolution. In later years wealthy Puerto Ricans also moved to the continental United States.

Personally I do not look for a mirrored experience, time-warped or not. When I was first out, my doppelgänger worked in a retail store I shopped. I would also see him out dancing, and my clubbing friends thought we should go out- or hook up. We never did, and I don’t regret it. My taste for older, ethnic and hairy men was there at that age, tempered by the youthful freshly-out need to say yes to everything once - or twice.

My types were and still are the wholesome All-American clean-cut guys with toned bodies that hail for the Midwest or somewhere in the South. Think "Mormon Missionary" from back in the 70's or US Military guys also from the late 60's, 70's till possibly the mid 80's. Those were my high school and early college days and the men I would swoon and drool over. Till this day those are my preferred types. Like I mentioned in another link, Quentin Gainz kind of guy. ?

My taste have gone from twinky to bear to grandpa to trans to obese, all races, all heights. I love my muscle men but sometimes you want to change it up with a guy that is totally different.
