Same here.  If there was a TV show for e-mail hoarding, I’d be on it.  The only e-mails I delete at work are out of office notifications and the few spam items which get through our firewall/. Everything else gets archived.  At my previous job, I was able to produce an e-mail string from five years earlier when someone accused us of mishandling their issue.  It’s called CYA.

Same in my Italian family.  It was customary to name your first-born male child after his paternal grandfather.  My grandfather’s name was Giuseppe (Joseph).  He and my grandmother had eleven children, six of whom were boys.  Five of those six sons have sons.  If you called out the name “Joe” at a family event 7 men turned their heads.  My one uncle who only had one daughter named her Joie to keep the tradition.

Professionally E-mail is still the preferred form of communication for my business.
As mentioned above it's efficent in the way you can store, sort and search for messages. I try to engage clients through email for most agreements so there is no He said/ She said moments where someone remembers something that was agreed to differently.
In my office all business transactions are email while text is used for quick check-ins, questions and short discussions

Italian Americans nearly always name children after their elders ..so yes .the same names get recycled over and over.
My in-laws are Italian and there are multiple Anthony's because grandpa was Anthony. Somehow they all seem to know WHICH Anthony we are talking about in-spite of the fact there are six of them....Always baffles me, as the outsider.

It's funny that with all the back and forth about referring to a new provider as "fresh meat" and "importing" someone, no one sees the irony that the section of this forum where we discuss providers is called "The Deli."

Many things can happen in three weeks time, including things that could prevent either or both of you from meeting (weather? health? Emergencies with family/pets?)
My interest in The New is displaced by the frustration of deposits. They are down payments (for time)that, if not honored, will not be taken to small claims court. They only favor the provider in first-time meetings. Known providers only for me, now. I’ve already proven my reliability in prior dealings.

Here are a couple resources addressing this issue.  Both appear to be offering their services navigating through the process, so remember, while their information is accurate, it’s really a sales pitch.
    https://www.nolo.com/legal-encyclopedia/free-books/fiance-marriage-visa-book/chapter1-5.html

My suggestion is to hire an experienced, reputable immigration attorney to guide and advise.  There are various options and with each certain requirements for residency either in the States or waiting in a home country.  The risks of fraudulently presenting your relationship can be severe including permanent deportation of the applicant and fines/imprisonment for the sponsor.

If you present yourself as an “engaged” couple (fiancé visa), immigration will want to see documentation of your relationship in the form of photographs together and correspondence (including texts) between you.  If it’s done as someone just visiting who “falls in love” while here and wants to apply for residency, then there are defined time periods between the time of arrival and application for residency when the application is viewed more suspiciously (30, 60, 90 day periods).

It’s still there, but only legitimate companies are going to adhere to it.  Scammers don’t give a shit about a no-call list.  Blocking calls doesn’t do anything because they just spoof a different number.  My rule is if you’re not in my contact list or I don’t recognize the number I’m not answering.

It would be nice if there was a “subscription package” for the OF/JFF performers so that you can pay a nominal fee per month for access to more than one page. The market was saturated before the pandemic, it’s even more so now.

I recently subscribed to two, Griffin Barrows and Tyler and Ace. Both have great content, I haven’t been hit-up for up-sells, and it’s not just teasers. I’ve actually DM’d with Griffin a few times and found him to be very friendly and engaging.

I also took a chance on another one last week. I follow the performer on Twitter and he was offering a special ($4.88 for 30 days if you signed up by the end of that day). He had some hot content, mostly teasers, and within one day I had two direct messages, which I’m sure were auto-generated, offering explicit photos ($3.99) and a video of him jacking off ($19.95). I immediately cancelled my subscription.

In my experience the company is really the reason for an overnight, not 12 or so hours of action. It’s about being with someone you feel comfortable with to chat, eat, relax, bathe, walk, and of course get intimate with each other over the course of the session. Clients book it as an escape from normal life.
