Last night I had some very vivid dreams such that I remembered them today. The last dream was a real shocker.
I dreamt I was in a race against another person that consisted of 4 laps between two walls about 50 feet apart. The winner had to touch the wall with his body. 
I was so determined to win I threw myself at the wall head first. I crashed into it head first.
At that point I woke up with my head crashing against the footboard of my 19th century French bed. I bounced off it, stunned. I went to the bathroom to see what damage I had done. Just a red welt and no swelling. 
Tonight it's just a tiny red spot and a little tender. Lucky I have a hard head. Tonight I will drape a blanket over the footboard.

Oh dear this forum is becoming like twitter. You took my comment, rephrased it; “that’s like saying” and then critiqued your reinterpretation! 

What I said was have great sex with people you like. Look beyond the label that society gives them (gay, straight etc) and see the person and what attracts you to them.
Personally I’ve found that the more I’ve explored the wider my taste has become. It’s like continually trying new things to broaden your mind. In the past I have let societal labels prejudice my opinion of whether I am attracted to someone, so I didn’t do anything with them. Now my mind is more open to different people and I’ve discovered that attraction is way deeper and more complex than I had believed when I was constrained by labels. 

As we approach the 2nd Anniversary of @Guy Fawkes passing it’s a good time to ask yourself the question: If anything happened to me, who would know? 
@Guy Fawkes lived alone. No neighbor or friend knew he was in need of help. After not hearing from him for a couple of days, the police were called to do a Wellness Check. Sadly, he was found on the floor barely alive and, a month later, passed away  
The outcome might have been different had he been found sooner. For those of you who live alone do you have a contact person who would realize something might be wrong if they didn’t hear from you? If there is one thing we can learn for this loss its the importance of having that contact person.

You have a narrow a view of "harm."  Many incels started the road to becoming an incel by watching lots of porn.  Some guys become so warped that watching porn and beating off is the only way they can orgasm. In a practical sense they are incapable of having sex with a live person.  I would say being incapable of having sex with your partner constitutes harm - they could lose the relationship, or seriously damage it.  I could imagine a techie working from home who gets so compulsive about porn that he loses his job.  That's not harm?

Sex addiction is real. A sex addiction is a pathological relationship to a mood altering experience.
As with alcohol or drugs, which are mood altering substances, there isn't a "cure." But 12 step programs are great for resolving the pathology. Give it a try.

For me, sexual compulsion is tied to generalized anxiety.  I use sex to distract and calm my constant anxious feelings.  Therapy, "personal work," medication, and frankly, aging, has made my impulses more manageable.
But that's me. I echo those above who suggest seeing a therapist (or therapists, finding the right one can itself be a challenge). You need to unpack what sex is doing for you now, how you want to integrate it into a better life, and how to get from A to B.

How do you overcome a sex addiction?  I cannot seem to get enough sex and massage.
When I am not having sex, I find myself going online and looking for gay sex porn.
It is really creating issues for my life since it is such a distraction.
If others have experienced the same issue, how did you overcome it?

So I guess I'm being pretty obvious here, but honestly, it's just who I am and what I do. I love those cocky providers who embrace their great gift and want others to salivate and desire it, too. I'm not into pumped up muscle guys especially, as my entire passion and interest is what's hanging, teasing and spewing. The first order of business will be Saturday dinner reservations at a local contemporary restaurant, followed by RSVP’s for the Sunday pool gathering at my temporary residence, followed by Monday morning reservations at a local popular breakfast restaurant.  You may prepay the dinner fee and the breakfast fee prior to the event via either PayPal or Venmo.
If you will be bringing a “guest”, please tell me who. That information will also be kept confidential, unless you say otherwise. Attendance by escorts (by themselves or as someone's guest) is greatly encouraged.
 
If you will be coming from out-of-town and need accommodations, you should arrange for those ASAP, if you have not already. There have been several suggestions put forth in previous threads concerning possible accommodations.

Again, the dinner will be early Saturday evening, April 15, the pool gathering will be in the afternoon of Sunday, April 16, and the breakfast will be Monday morning, April 17.

Alas, I must pass on the Palm Springs  weekend this year. I stayed at Canyon Club last year and found the place to be woefully rundown. Yes, I had stayed there before, but the missing mouldings, missing lights in the bathroom, missing floor transition (open gap)  between the bedroom and bath, as well as the depressing wall colors did not contribute to the pleasantness of my stay. I much prefer Indulge where I have stayed twice, but the current rates of almost $400 per night for the weekend involved are prohibitive. Also, age may be catching up to me, and air travel has become a major hassle. 
My regards to all the great guys I have met on these weekends.

That to me would be absolute perfection. To be a total good looking muscular very masculine man with a pussy. I've always wondered why so many males with a penis get boob jobs and become "women" for appearance sake yet one never hears of a male getting a vagina put on and staying a "male". The closet I've ever been to female genitalia was at birth, and I've never looked back. I like my women like I like my coffee. I don't like coffee. And if someone would ask me what I'd like in a woman, I'd say I like mine on the taller side, with broader shoulders and a bigger d**k.
