I am with you on this, however, today I discovered something. It seems as if providers can have both “private galleries” that they can unlock for you, as well as “premium photos” which are available only to premium members. See screenshots from one RM profile in v7 below:

Thanks for that clarification.  I joined premium for the first time last month and I've noticed these changes:

A photo that has been unlocked automatically because of premium membership has a little 'flame' icon in the lower right corner.

A photo that still requires a request of the escort to unlock has a little 'lock' icon.

Sorry for the double post. What determines if a client appears not to be serious? That seems to be said a lot with no real clarity what makes for it. As a client, it would be helpful to know so I don’t accidentally fall in that pit.

I'd like to know this, too. When I make an initial contact with a provider, I do it with the utmost respect, sincerity and flexibility.  This rarely gains me any response whatsoever. Especially not from well reviewed escorts. I'd love to know what I'm doing wrong.

  3. Is the 'Gold' membership on Rentmen something a provider can purchase for himself?  Or is is usually 'bestowed' upon him as a gift from an appreciative client?  What if the provider is contemplating retirement? Does the 'Gold' gift membership keep his ad alive whether he wants it or not?  Even if he's no longer accepting appointments?  I've seen one ad for a 'Gold star' escort who hasn't logged on to Rentmen in over a year.

Is the 'Gold star" supposed to imply some kind of higher level of professionalism or trustworthiness? (Because so far, for me, it signifies "least likely to respond in any way to a polite and respectful inquiry.") 🙂

  4. As a side question - I wondered if there is a way to tell if a  'chat' recipient has deleted a conversation on his end.  And would it disappear on my end, too?  If I receive no response to a polite and respectful initial inquiry am I supposed to keep trying?  Or does my original offer 'live' on his message board for future reference?

(I gather the 'double check mark' next to a message indicates the recipient has at least seen the message, even if he doesn't bother to reply.)

  5. His first review is dated May 20, 2022 and I really do think he 'burst upon the scene' just a little before that date.  (the review describes him as a new comer.) Area code is from Manhattan.

I think it all comes down to being flexible on boundaries and different ways of communication/working to a degree. Sometimes, there has to be a compromise to make things work. I think some clients expect us to do things the way they want it to be done, but in reality: It’s up to the person running their biz. RentMen instant messenger is simply an option for contact.

God bless the escort who states their preferred method of contact in the body of their profile.

It's a fucking phone number.  I never cease to be amazed how excessively SOME escorts bitch about "time wasters" and "Blocked numbers" and "Fake numbers" WAHHHH.  you took 2 minutes of my day for the second time this month, and I want it back GODDAM IT!

    THIS!

Also: How DARE you waste my time by contacting me to try to engage in a service I myself am advertising as being for sale on Rentmen?!
