Sexy sat, has one lap dance room with about 15 chairs. That room is not monitored.. There is one private room u can rent. What happens in there is between you and the dancer. At the Social House, a similar setup as Fubar. Lap dance room in back, behind curtains. Its monitored. Hopefully that helps

    Very helpful. Thank you!

Its at a private business.  Very intimate space. The guys are not nude. The lap dance room is not supervised. There is a private room you can book.. A lot of fun.

Thanks; that's the info I was looking for. Very helpful.

  3. I get weekly email updates for the Adonis LA shows with the following info for their "Sexy Saturday" shows:

    Hybird Format and Event Info:
    - Dancers on stage per usual
    - Lap Dances per usual, BUT with a more "relaxed vibe"
    - Private 1-on-1 room option
    - Beverages on site (No BYOB)
    - Event is CASH ONLY, including beverages
    - No ATM on site

    - Address/Location:  To be provided Saturday to those who have registered.
    - Show Times:  9pm - 2am

The location is described as a 'private venue'. Does anyone know what that means?  Is it some (unknown) bar or club such as where they hold their normal Wednesday night show? Or is it a private house/residence such as where they hold their monthly nude shows?

    Curious.

I should have said he has escorted because I don't know if he still is. About a year ago he was traveling around the states and had an RM page. Lovely guy. Unfortunately, I wasn't available to contact him for a meeting.

As recently as a week ago (or less) he had an ad on Rentmen.com out of LA.  It's gone now, but the ad seems to surface there frequently. I think he goes by the name of JacobTop or something like that.

FWIW, @bostonman  I’m with you 100%. I despise short and curt responses and it really makes me double think about hiring the guy.

As others noted, I’m not looking for a long winded text conversation, but more than one or two words in response is necessary.

A few years ago there was an escort in LA who had a page full of great reviews and was gushed about exuberantly on these boards, particularly noting how friendly and personable he was. (That's an important attribute for me.)  He was on my wish list forever - I held him there for something to look forward to.  Then came a day he announced he would be retiring on some particular date a few months down the line. I figured it's now or never and I finally contacted him via text.  My texts were brief, on-point, accommodating and friendly.  His responses were one word grunts: "sure" and "OK".  I passed.

  6. As a Netflix subscriber, I would have appreciated this choice even at the expense of the delayed streaming release date. However, Netflix decided that as their subscriber I was not worthy that choice. And as their subscriber I'm not sure I like them making that decision for me. While I feel strongly about this, I'm not at the point where I'm going to cancel my subscription. But if they continue to jeopardize the future of movie theaters I might just do that.

I agree completely with this. And it harkens back to one of my questions: If one were to cancel their Netflix subscription over an issue like this, how does Netflix know that's the reason? (Not that they'd care, I'm sure.)

Another point. At some point, even THE IRISHMAN will be bumped off the menu and added to the 'what's leaving this month' list. As a semi-collector, there are a few titles I like to own on Blu-Ray or DVD so that they are ALWAYS available to me when I want. Perhaps someone has a collection of Scorcese movies or Cohen Bros. movies. In the new streaming universe, this option of owning physical media will be going away, just like the option of seeing a movie on a big screen theater. Another decision Netflix, et al. have made for us. I don't like it. I don't see why we can't have it ALL.

  7. Another question I ponder about this new Netflix working model. If THE IRISHMAN, for instance, is just another tile on the vast Netflix menu, how do they gauge it's value / success / failure? If someone signs on to Netflix just because they want to see THE IRISHMAN (for instance), how does Netflix know? It will pretty much always be there (and nowhere else) just like another episode of Pokemon. Until it's not. Then where does it go?

  8. And I am super happy because projects are getting financed that never would be before by people whose stories weren't being told.

    THAT'S a different problem with today's Hollywood...

  9. Just had the 'privilege' of seeing this on the big screen in LA. I feel bad for those who have to settle for watching this epic on Netflix at home with even a decent big screen TV. It's just not the same. I'm really not liking the way Netflix is shaking up the Hollywood business model.

  10. For me, he's one (of many) porn stars who look so hot in pictures, but when you see them in action on screen they're oddly mechanical and 'by-the-numbers' while doing the deed. As an escort, I always figure if they're that disengaged while doing another hot porn star in front of a camera for decent (?) money, there's slim chance of them enjoying being with an average Joe like me.

  11. The only real problem comes in where you might delay trying to meet someone because you think, "Well, if they've moved here, I have time to meet them in a month or two," then you find they were only visiting.

    Gman

This is EXACTLY why I, as a potential client, think it is a TERRIBLE practice. Similarly, if it looks like someone from my town whom I was interested in has 'moved' to Fuknott, Alaska (for instance), I'm apt to write them off and move on to other ads. (Even though I find out later they were only visiting that other town.)

The fact that the 'location icon' causes so much confusion seems to me reason enough to clearly state your travel dates in the body of the ad.

  12. They still live in NYC. For some reason on their RM ad they tend to change their home city to their travel city so it looks like they’re living in San Fran when in fact they’re just visiting there.

I see this ALL THE TIME with traveling escorts on Rentmen. Very confusing to potential clients, and I would think very counter-productive.

  13. Now that Netflix owns Hollywood, and every studio is now trying to emulate their streaming business model, I wonder about the life cycle of a new movie. It used to be: 1. Theatrical release > 2. Release to BluRay > 3. Release to cable pay channels such as Showtime and HBO > 4. Release to 'general' cable stations like TBS and play in heavy rotation > 5. Release to free over-the-air TV channels.

Now that Netflix produces their own content, they've pretty much stripped the public of an opportunity to see their movies on the big screen. (Except in certain cities, for certain 'special' movies, for limited time frames.) But once the movie is no longer new and special, and it's pushed off stage by the next big thing, where does it go? The Netflix graveyard? And once it hits the "What's leaving Netflix this month" lists, is that it? Never to be seen again on another platform? Not even DVD or BluRay?? Will THE IRISHMAN, for instance, end this way? Same questions apply for the forthcoming HBO+ streaming service which will be owned and run by Warner Brothers.

I'm not liking this new world!
