Bull market not done yet
+ Vegas_Millennial replied to + Vegas_Millennial's topic in Personal Finance & Investing
My retirement accounts are very happy after 2025. I keep 1/3 of my portfolio in international stocks, which did even better than the bull market in the US especially when currency conversation is factored in. -
Most of my thoughts are in complete sentences and have been since pre-school. Some quirks as I've aged: In Jr and Sr high school, I air-typed many of my thoughts on an imaginary typewriter with my fingers. I stopped doing that before university. Now, I occasionally find my self proof-reading my thoughts for better grammar.

Well said. I'm comfortable/wealthy as well; but, like you, it's locked away in retirement accounts and home equity. I've lived a life of saving and investing most of my earned income in my 20s. Now in Middle Age, what I save and invest is peanuts compared to the growth from the smart decisions I made in my 20s. To get busy living, I've stopped saving as much and increased my leisure spending; but, it's hard switching from a savings mindset to a spending mindset.

Minimum wage, single income, 2 bedrooms? I'm sorry... The 2nd bedroom is a choice she made and is prioritizing over her future. A studio is fine for 1 person. I laugh at sob stories that report the minimum wage is not enough to rent an average 2 bedroom apartment in most cities... why are all these one people on minimum wage needing 2 bedroom apartments!

Should I post my exhaustive reviews of LA masseurs?
+ Vegas_Millennial replied to Kregger52's topic in Spas & Masseurs
I agree so much. The way a man talks can be so sexy; and, I find I am not attracted to a man who speaks English poorly (whether native or foreign-born). Just like most of us on here don't hire women for sexual intimacy, it makes sense for us to hire someone with the physical, mental, and vocal attributes we find attractive. -
Apparently neg and on prep is the new way of saying hiv poz?
+ Vegas_Millennial replied to HeyMan999's topic in Men's Health
Correct! So if a viral load test shows negative.... what should one list as one's status? (Hint: it should match the test result) -

+ Vegas_Millennial replied to HeyMan999's topic in Men's Health
Correct. A viral load test would show negative for the guys who have HIV and have it under control through medication, same as it would for the guy or girl who has never had it. The term "undetectable" means just that. So it makes sense that guys would put HIV negative and on Prep when they would, in fact, test negative for it and are, in fact, on the same medication as Prep. -
This nut job was from Minnesota... No surprise 😆

Post-encounter upper respiratory infections
+ Vegas_Millennial replied to + claym's topic in Men's Health
I frequently had sore throats for a few days after deep throating a hung man. I think it was less due to bacteria/virus and more due to physical trauma to the back of my throat. I've since learned that poppers work well to relax my throat in such situations, so my sore throats are less common now that the penis can go further down my throat without banging on my tonsils. -
When I was a teenager, my family had a second home for recreation. In hindsight, the biggest downside was we never traveled anywhere new because we felt obligated to spend our vacation time in the second property, if only for monthly maintenance visits. Based on my experience, I will never own a second property. I will pay to rent a second place for a season if that's what I want, and then I can forget about the maintenance and maybe try someplace new after a few years without the hassle of putting the property up for sale when I tire of it.

There's a city called Ontario in Canada? I've been to Ontario, CA. But I would consider it just a neighborhood of Los Angeles for purposes of city titles. -
Do you become less selective over time?
+ Vegas_Millennial replied to Mark_fl's topic in Questions About Hiring
The nice thing about getting older is there are more and more men younger than I. Therefore, the field of men I find attractive increases every year. -

I may need to learn how to massage No, the money is in learning how to suck. 😊 -
Would you pay upfront for a vacation trip?
+ Vegas_Millennial replied to labiologie's topic in Questions About Hiring
If traveling internationally, just remember to declare it. If traveling domestically, then it's no problem/hassle whatsoever. -

I carry cash through TSA all the time on that order of magnitude. It's no big deal. -
Take it up with the California Board of Sex Workers. State your side and show the ad, and see if the State will force the sex worker to be more explicit in his advertisements and contracts going forward.

Do snowy days negatively affect business?
+ Vegas_Millennial replied to marylander1940's topic in Questions About Hiring
In the last 20 years here in Las Vegas, I did not hire an escort or masseur on both days that it snowed. -

Still $550/hr. -
When sending a gift to an escort (Christmas gift, for example) I'll ask what name he prefers it to be addressed to. But by the time we're exchanging Christmas gifts, he's pretty much given me his real name already.
