  1. This is so true! My father is a member of the Silent Generation (before the Boomers) and as a rule the Silent Generation are so respectful and polite and productive because they live in the shadows of the Greatest Generation who fought in World War II.
  2. My faith in the younger generation is somewhat restored. I went back to Silverado tonight, and several boys were engaging with me. One even walked up to me and thanked me for visiting last night. Miss Manners would be proud 🥲
  3. Last night I was at Silverado in Portland, and exactly ONE Gen Z boy looked at me and said hi and asked me how I was doing after I tipped him for his public dance, out of more than a dozen dancers that were working that night.
  4. And yet Mr. Garstin is the one still alive and stands to inherit $1M. Maybe he's the one who is smarter than the rest of us 😜
  5. Those 2 things aren't necessarily the same thing. Let us all consider our hobby of hiring men for sex, which is illegal almost everywhere in the US, before we cast stones saying that because something is illegal one shouldn't do it. Thanks for sharing this perspective. I was on a jury for a trail where the stepfather was accused of molesting his stepdaughter several times, some before her 14th birthday and some after. The reason her birthday was important is because his actions carried less severe charges when she was over 14. And to think a little more than a century ago, it was legal and common for 30 year old men to marry 12 year old girls. But definitely for not two 30 year old men to marry each other. Disclaimer: I'm not advocating for laws or penalties to be changed one way or the other. I'm just saying that laws and morals don't always align, especially personal morals. (Now queue the onslaught of attacks calling me perverted for not reading everything I wrote in context)
  6. I've hired in London. I've always paid at the end.
  7. I have to say that Florida has some of the best roads yet worst drivers anywhere. But the rudest people I've met so far are Italians. I just spent a few weeks in Italy. They make New Yorkers look like the welcome wagon. So far, they are the rudest people I've experienced (but, I haven't traveled Asia yet 😉).
  8. We all pay. If not with cash, then with time, arguments, frustrations, compromises, freedom, etc. So, yes, intamacy will require payment for the rest of your life
  9. I like doggie better than missionary, so I've positioned mirrors to see my partners' faces. It's the little details that show I care.
  10. Good analogy. Just remember all the land owners who bought in '05/'06, and then tried to sell anytime before '20. They would have taken a huge loss. (Exact dates vary by location. Some places took less time to recover, some more).
  11. I'm only looking to be a "Splenda Daddy". I'll support a young cute guy a little, but not as sweet as a Sugar Daddy
  12. It's also discussed (or rather, complained about) here: I guess this person was expecting a non-humorous live documentary on Lincoln.
  13. This sounds like the frustration everyone but bisexuals face. Bisexuals are open to everyone, but most people only want either the oppositte sex or the same sex.
  14. This person has shown in one instance that he understands "you're" when he stated "You're a good person". Therefore, we must understand what he means when he signed off with "Your very rude" instead of the more traditional "Yours truly" or "Affectively Yours". He basically ended the conversation with "I am very rudely yours", admitting his own rudeness. 😊
  15. Wow. so..NOT true in MY case. Same here, not true in my case either. My boyfriends have been a mix of ethnicities, body types (Twink, Club, Daddy), national origin, age (ranging from 5 years younger to 20 years older), education (some master's degrees, some high school GED), and sexual positions. Yes, I've even had boyfriends who preferred different sexual positions then what I typically enjoy. In some relationships, I was strictly the top. In others, I was strictly the bottom. Sure, I have a general preference. But sex is just one small part of the entire package and if I really care for someone I'm going to make him feel good and enjoy all of his body, which means sex will likely be different than with hookups or escorts.
  16. I was always told the White Queen makes the first move. Or was that chess? Either way, it could apply in this situation also 😊
  17. The topic of suspected law enforcement showing up pretending to be a client or an escort has been discussed here dozens of times (that I can remember) in various threads. I don't remember who shared it, but the best advice I heard was: When you or he shows up for the appointment, immediately start with a long passionate kiss when the door is first opened. That SHOULD be enough to guarantee that the other person is not an undercover cop.
  18. I hope it says I don't put much stock in numbers (except for notches on my bed post 😈)
  19. I do the same. I'm 6'3" but say 6'1”, and my younger brother is 6'4" but says he's 6'5". When we are together and I tell people I am 6"1' and he tells them he is 6'5", they always look at him and know he is lying to inflate his ego.
  20. I once hooked up with a guy who afterwards asked me if I worked for the government. It turns out he was a firefighter and he recognized me from a committee meeting we were both in.
  21. The only times I pay "before" are at a vending machine, ticket booth, or travel agent.
  22. The non-binary transvestite cousin of They 😆
