I recently hired someone for the first time, and I left feeling a little disappointed.

I had mentioned to him via chat that I wanted to explore face fucking him, and topping him after. In retrospect, I guess I didn’t know what I want and wanted more of the boyfriend experience that eventually leads to sex.

We started off the session almost immediately with sex. What ended up happening was him simply lying in bed while I did the majority of the work. I kissed him, but his kisses were not passionate. I sucked him off, but he was soft the entire time. Eventually I lost my hard-on when I realized (at least in my view at the time) that he probably wasn’t attracted to me, based on how foreplay went, but the least he could do was pretend to be interested.

The sex ended in 30 minutes after I came, and he then immediately got up to use the bathroom and wear his underwear. I would’ve liked to stay in the bedroom and do some post-coital chats and cuddles, but instead, we ended up in his living room not cuddling, and sat side by side talking. He had made indirect hints as if the session was over, but I told him I’d like to chat since there was still 30 minutes left.

That chat was nice! I felt like I enjoyed the chat more as it was more intimate than the sex. And I guess what I desired was also intimacy.

I just needed to get this off my chest. I know he can’t read my mind, but I wish that he could’ve guessed or even asked what I like. Should I have planned out the whole hour in a detailed fashion? I had wanted it to be a little more organic.

That feeling or perception from me that he didn’t find me attractive didn’t make me feel very good, judging by how soft he was during the entire half an hour of sex. Is that normal for a provider that bottoms? I’d have liked him to cum.

I’m just wondering how I could ensure I’ll have a better experience next time if I were to hire someone again. Would you have any tips for me?

If it matters at all, I’m Asian. I’ve read studies and heard that Asian men aren’t typically desired in Western countries, and that probably contributes to the occasional hit in self-esteem.

Not a provider, but as usual, i have an opinion!  I am sorry you had a mediocre experience. It is always disappointing when you picture a meeting in your mind and then the actual experience does not come close to measuring up.

There are plenty of men who enjoy the company of Asian men - I happen to be one of them. This forum has been super useful in helping identify the companions that are compatible with my desires - I am also lucky to live in NYC. Hiring the right companion is key to a good experience.  Sometimes the chemistry just isn't there - but when it is... wowza! Hang in there - do get back on the horse!!

Usually, when the companion aims straight for the main course and don't seem like he is willing to sit down for a few minutes to get to know each other, I just know the experience will be sub par and try to slow things down. Offer him a drink. Ask him how his week is going. Try to slow things down just a little bit. See if that helps.

He's been  discussed before, I added him to my 'todo' list because of reading about him here.

He is a really cool guy, but it has become very hard to find an appointment with him. He's been traveling extensively doing porn and when in town is usually fully booked. I am glad for his success, always nice to see a good guy win!

  3. My regular massage buddy told me he is now doing porn. Encouraged me to follow him on Twitter. He was so proud of the fact that he got signed by a professional porn studio. I wanted to be happy for him and celebrate the achievement, but I am not really "enjoying" the experience of seeing him naked on Twitter with random guys in explicit images. I've never really been into porn. That may be at the root of my conflicted feelings over this. The scenes don't seem to be particularly tasteful and he appears to have a wild side I did not know about. Not sure if I am envious about the guys he play with, he also has far less availability at the moment, or perhaps yours truly is just surprised to find how different it is to go from seeing him in person, to seeing him have rather wild sex on screen. I may just mute the channel and go back to "out of sight, out of mind". 🤷‍♂️

Have you ever been envious of a partner in this manner...how did you handle.

When I was a liberal I was always angry and stressed over issues I didn't understand and didn't really care about, nor could do anything about, which is the culture, and I had a weird mission in my heart to work with planned parenthood and raise funds for abortions for poor women who couldn't afford them, and a weird goal to become a sexologist and sexualize everyone, I had taught a class on sex magick rituals and occultism, and I wanted to teach sex ed to teenagers which would have been a more wild and inclusive sex ed than what I received in my catholic prep schools.

This woke mob culture today thrives on meme pathogens and mind viruses and you can just get infected and not really know what the F you are thinking and what you stand for.

These educators and activists are just lost and are completley selfish and delusional. I believe though that everyone can wake up and change and turn their loves around.

What you describe, isnt being a liberal dear. You were a rebellious kid in a catholic prep school.

Interestingly, I was considering a donation to wikipedia.   In reviewing their financials (they don't need my money...), I found the KPMG audit for the Wikimedia Foundation, the operator of wikipedia.

In addressing treatment of donated cryptocurrency in Footnote 1(l), it's interesting to see that crypto is classified as a NON-Financial Asset...and not lumped in with Cash and Investments.

Hmmm..."cryptoCURRENCY" that isn't "cash"...it doesn't even rise to the ambiguous classification of "Other Investments."

So, I researched it some more and learned that GAAP treatment of cryptocurrency is as an INTANGIBLE ASSET....in other words, it's value classifies with what is commonly referred to as "airball" in leveraged finance - the price paid in excess of the underlying value of the asset acquired.

I think that's meaningful for folks who consider crypto an "investment"...Or, it could just be that  Wiki's Board, KPMG, and the FASB are made up of old farts like me who don't understand that "this really is a young man's game" for geniuses like Sam Bankman-Fried to run with...

    Caveat Emptor

Yes, under GAAP, crypto is not considered a cash equivalent, nor is it a financial instrument. There is a rare exception for stablecoin that may give you the right to an underlying currency - in which case it can be a financial instrument.  In general it is treated as an intangible asset and is carried at purchase price on the books, with impairment account rules in play when the market value drops below the purchase price. You can only recognize a profit in your P&L when you sell - fair value accounting is not allowed.  It can get complicated and the IRS is paying particular attention to it, so always consult with a good CPA before you get significantly invested.

Then I guess suggesting the Costco pharmacy is no good either

Costco isn't really a thing in Manhattan. Manhattan apartments are notoriously "cozy"...we don't do "stocking up" or "buying in bulk"! I have never been to a Costco...

And it would have been cruel to do so. Not everyone is playing in The Great Game, and she was no doubt thrilled to have been able to chalk up that one night. Some of us can strategise about how to earn and spend vast hoards of points (or not so vast) but not everyone is so blasé as we can be about a reward flight or night's accommodation.

My strategy is a little different. My  favorite credit card is "Daddy"... 😉

Does your supermarket have a pharmacy?  After I was turned away from Walgreens and CVS, I walked into my supermarket and got the flu shot with only 1 person ahead of me in line.

Good thought, but the markets around my neighborhood in NYC does not have pharmacies.

  9. I have been unable to find a walk in location to get the flu shot. Today I tried Walgreens, Rite Aid and CVS in my neighborhood. They all require an appointment even though they were clearly not busy (if they were visibly busy, I wouldn't have asked).  Closest is Walgreens and they offer appointments only between 3pm and 5pm. I usually leave work at 6pm, so don't get back to my neighborhood until much after 6pm. 🤷‍♂️

I found an article on Reddit but nothing on here. The last two days I've had three very attractive Asian men contact me on Grindr.  One was nice but after three something smells.  Apparently it starts off with looking for a relationship and ends with Crypto investments.  All started talking about money pretty quickly.  Any one else experiencing this?

Yes sir.  Happens quite frequently on dating sites too. Finally made it to Grindr. Not just Asian men and  boys, also Ukrainian. Buyer beware!

I think there is an app now…Jackpot? They buy the ticket for you and scan it into the app so you can see your numbers.  Havent used it and not sure it will work if you are outside of the USA.

I think the app is called Jackpocket - they advertise on the NYC subway.

The trainer community has a fair proportion of straight-edge types, so there's higher than average risk they will react poorly.  If you're not able to read people really well, and also are concerned about discretion, I'd avoid trying this. There are clearly plenty of escort ads that mention training services so I'd approach from that angle.

OTOH, if you have a "fuck you money" level of wealth which ameliorates the downside concern, you may try whatever you want.

I deduct points when you use words I have to Google!

I like the approach you suggested - very logical to look for an escort that also work as a trainer.

Whether it’s off-the-shelf or a franken-gadget, it’s probably worth it if you do cakes every week because you love it, or make some change selling them. Enjoyment is enough - it’s a tool to achieve nicer results, just like a ruler.

Hopefully not the same ruler being used by guys on Grindr: we both know it doesn't measure straight or accurate! 🤣

For less than $6 you can buy a 6 inch square lazy Susan turntable bearing from Home Depot and make your own from useless junk you probably already have at home

I would but...I am am too lazy! 😆

Question: I notice that folks now refer time off work as PTO. I’ve always used the phrase vacation day. When did OTO start being used?

To answer your question. Many firms in the early 2000s started consolidating time off.  Instead of 15 days vacation, 5 sick days, 2 floating holidays for religious holidays and 3 days bereavement leave they just gave everyone 15 days PTO. Use it as you wish. Less administration and more work days overall for the employee. They also started limiting how many days of PTO you can carry over to the next year. 🤓
