If there was a "frequently asked" section here, you would find this topic at the top of the list. With no consensus. 10% will say zero tip, 10% will say 100% tip...and the rest will be somewhere in between. I choose to tip for excellent service, but apply judgment as to the size of tip - based on service, fee, experience and history with companion.

I agree with our resident bean counter! ( @Beancounter) There are income limits for a Roth IRA - you can make too much money to qualify...but there are ways around it. Most firms use a financial firm to administer their 401k - like Vanguard, Fidelity or Empower. These firms often offer free advice and you can ask to speak to an advisor about a Roth - just don't let them talk you into doing a rollover (moving money from your 401k to an IRA). If you like podcasts - the Moneygirl podcast has episodes on retirement accounts that will be an hour well spent, before you talk to an advisor.

Findom - share your firsthand experience
KeepItReal replied to Simon Suraci's topic in Questions About Hiring
Here’s what I want to know: How did you find your provider(s)? A: I did some online research - Did you use any specialized kink platforms like Recon or others? A: I ended up on Seeking.com - Did you approach providers who did not list findom as an option, or only those who list findom on their ads? A: No, only those that listed it What made you choose your provider? A: Looks and attitude How did you ask for what you wanted? A: We moves the conversation to Telegram and were able to be direct about expectations Did you clearly, and without feeling any sense of coercion, consent to a findom roleplay scenario before your provider began engaging in your desired role play? A: Yes, we had a meeting of the minds on expectations What boundaries, if any, did you set with your provider before engaging his services? A: We agreed on boundaries, specifically I did not want any items/experiences or locations posted on social media. Did your provider violate any of your clearly communicated and agreed-upon boundaries? A; Yes. I was clear about parameters, but he pushed. For example, he wanted a credit card to operate independently, but that was outside the boundaries we discusses. Did your provider force you to do anything to which you did not consent? A: No Which methods of contact did you use throughout the process, and why? Phone, text, email, app, etc. A: Telegram Did you meet in person? If so, where, and how often? A: Yes, multiple times, first in public and then privately. Weekly. What was your experience like overall? A: Meh How did the experience make you feel? A: A little weird, to be honest. Was the exchange worthwhile? A: No, I wouldnt repeat this adventure How did your experience differ from your expectations? A: It pretty much turned out the way I expected Would you engage your provider again? A: No, not for findom. As a regular hire, yes. Would you seek out a different provider for similar services in the future? A: No Where do you recommend others with similar interests seek out professional, experienced, reliable findom providers? A: I would hesitate to recommend this particular pass time. -
Unexpected warning by Microsoft about the "other" site

The two sites are very different, not just the topics covered but the audience as well. Which is a good thing. Yeay diversity! 👏 -

That hasn't been my experience and I have floated between the two sites for years as a participating member. Guess I am just lucky! 😌 Thanks @Lucky -

I can agree to that. -

It is no worse over there than it is over here. Every forest has its "special" trees. If you hang around long enough, you will figure it out. Different isn't necessarily nut-job. 🤓 -
Previously discussed here: https://www.companyofmen.org/topic/142889-cristopherbu-rentmen-eu-ny/ You participated in discussion - why the new thread?

Are "haka" sexy? New Zealand's rugby tradition in display!
KeepItReal replied to marylander1940's topic in The Sports Desk
The "haka" doesn't do much for me but the men sure do! I've been very distracted by the Rugby World Cup. Surprised that Australia fared rather poorly - historically a strong team with uber sexy men. 😉 -
Let us know how your trip turned out! I haven't been back in a while. Love the architecture, the gas lamp lights, the vibe and the food. Even considered painting the ceiling of my porch blue...to "keep the bad spirits away" after I learned of the practice during a past visit. 😁

I can cite numerous studies, but google it to believe your own eyes. There is a reason it is called a "dad bod".

Good looking today, but it will fade fast - check back in 5 years when he is married and sporting a beer belly. As I always say: Have a dick, don't be a dick.

Anyone know what happened to "Bodega Bro", Griffin Green? Just curious - he came up in conversation today...

Actually the article is incorrect in that case - her comment about putting a finger in the bullet hole was made to Larry Craig (yes, THAT Larry Craig) as well, on the senate floor when they debated the 1994 gun control legislation. She didn't say she tried to find a pulse - she was trying to stop the bleeding and find a pulse. You can probably find the clip on YouTube. The source article: "I tried to get a pulse and put my finger through a bullet hole."

There are reasons why my two regulars enjoy spending time with me. It may be mostly about the rate I am willing to pay for their time. I am also low drama (discount requests count as drama). Never try to short change them (no discount requests). Adjust rates upwards every other year (again, no discounts). Annual Christmas bonus, even if it isn't a huge amount. Always treat them better than I would want to be treated. It is a slippery slope. I'm sure alternative arrangements can work, but I learned long ago that they don't work for me. Keep it simple stud.

What's considered acceptable medical care in your country?
KeepItReal replied to a topic in Men's Health
I've lived in a few countries and have had to get physicals and other problems seen to. But always by "private" doctors and not public/government funded services, so my experience may be skewed. South Africa surprised me by the level of care I received - expensive by local standards, but not so by US standards. Doctors, dentists were all very good, well trained, communited well and had modern equipment. It has become a mecca for Brits who wants affordable cosmetic surgery, for example. It is quickly becoming the UK's Mexico! Thailand was hit and miss. A concierge service helped me find better alternatives. Ask around the expat community if you need to see a good doc. Communication was a problem - I had to ask probing questions and instructions for medication was not clear. (Called my US doctor for clarification) Canada...oh, dear Canada. I love thee so, but stick to hockey my dear friends. At least there you understand the need for skill, speed and finesse! 😋 The care I received in the UK was...fine. My doctor was a young lad from Jamaica. I will give him credit for spending time with me, but it was mostly talking about his wish to live/work in America and not about my inflamed shoulder injury. The equipment was not "state of the art" and he told me had to bring some of his own supplies. The nurse was dismissive and didn't do the usual blood pressure/wellness check - he sighed and did it himself. -
From the CDC's website confirming Prep was first approved in 2012. https://www.cdc.gov/nchhstp/newsroom/fact-sheets/hiv/PrEP-for-hiv-prevention-in-the-US-factsheet.html Here is a link to the first study published discussing the potential that viral loads could be undetectable and not be transmitted to partners. Provider in Houston robbed me- what to do next
KeepItReal replied to + glycine's topic in Questions About Hiring
I am sorry this happened to you. You are going to have to report the theft to the police. It is necessary if you want to file a claim with your insurance company. You don't have to go into your "hiring" details, but will have to provide details that can help the police track him down. Like phone number and pictures. Do call your bank/credit card companies and notify them so they can check your accounts for unauthorized transactions and replace your cards. If your computers are set up to "remote wipe" like mine are, initiate the wipe. When you get new computers, change your login details for your accounts, in case the old credentials are saved in your browser on stolen computers. If he has your keys, you may need to change locks too since your wallet/ID probably has your address on it. And post a link of the thief here so we know to avoid him. Alternatively if he's been discussed here in a separate thread, leave a comment in the thread, something like "I met him. I do not recommend." When I see that, I know something is up. Good luck buddy!
