  1. Take a look here for an introduction. https://youtu.be/s6MwGeOm8iI
  2. I stopped by the Broadway location today since I was curious and it was nice out. Everything is app driven, ordering...paying. They won't help you - they will refer you to use the app. So if you leave your phone at home or at your desk when you step out for coffee you will be disappointed. They also aren't cheap - the discount code for first time use made it reasonble, but the regular prices are above Dunkin and just a few coins below Starbucks. I will not repeat - can do much better in NYC.
  3. I agree on the gross. What I am curious about is whether they really received complaints, as they claim, or if they are over reacting again and using Sniffies to target the gay community. It won't be the first time...a friend of mine was picked up by an undercover cop years ago at a public bathroom for doing nothing other than being gay and being there. We were on our way to see a movie at the mall, I was paying the bill for our meal and followed him in. Was there when the cop arrested him. With my statement and a review of his arrest history, a lawyer friend demonstrated that he had been targeting gays at that mall. So yes, I am geared towards being suspicious when I read things like this.
  4. Good luck finding a cheap hotel room in midtown NYC! Pro tip: if there is powdered sugar or frosting on the dude's shirt - he is probably an undercover cop!
  5. Take a look at this from Gothamist. Careful when cruising in public spaces - they point to Sniffies specifically. "Nearly 200 people were arrested or detained since the start of June for alleged public lewdness or indecent exposure in the station’s men’s bathroom near its entrance at Eighth Avenue and 31st Street, Amtrak Deputy Police Chief Martin Conway confirmed to Gothamist. NYPD data shows only 12 people were arrested for public lewdness in and around Penn Station during the first five months of the year. But the data from Amtrak shows arrests for the violation skyrocketed since then. The bathroom is a hot spot on “cruising” apps like Sniffies, which men use to arrange public sexual encounters. The Amtrak Police Department has deployed undercover cops into the bathroom to catch people seeking illicit meetups, according to a police officer who took part in the crackdown and asked not to be named because he was not authorized to talk about the operation." https://gothamist.com/news/cruising-crackdown-in-penn-station-bathroom-puts-at-least-20-men-in-ice-custody
  6. I will be honest: that third eye is freaking me out a little bit! 😅
  7. If you missed John Oliver's show last night on HBO - take the time to watch it. Historical context is interesting. https://youtu.be/ohPToBog_-g
  8. The bottom line speaks. Consumers (like me!) cancelled their subscriptions, unions stepped up and industry insiders were vocal about not working with Disney/ABC. Disney share price started to drop and analysts became concerned about revenue and growth. Capitalism, yeah baby!
  9. Appreciate the comment, even if it is 4 years later. Hang in there, you will get the joke eventually!
  10. Or as I like to call them: my regular hires!
  11. Bias is an interesting thing. Funny how it creeps up on you and you don't realize it even when it is glaringly obvious to others. We should all guard against it.
  12. Thank you! I am sad to report that during my two trips the past 3 years I had great difficulty locating accomplished bottoms that are my "type". I met one great guy in Cebu who I will visit again, but otherwise it was a disappointing trip.
  13. It is a free country - you can set your rates any way you want. But it takes two to tango, so I am free to decline your proposed rate. Simple as that.
  14. Seeking should be used with caution. The site's previous name made more sense: seeking arrangements. It is an arrangement, not a relationship. If you treat it like a relationship you will likely be disappointed.
  15. Tipping is a reality in the industry. It doesn't bother me. Upselling does bother me - IMHO it is the bigger annoyance.
  16. This forum is intended to share opinions, informed by experience. Your opinion is not an absolute, a different opinion is not an attack or ridicule. If you don't like reading the opinion of others, you will not enjoy this forum.
  17. To keep 'em guessing I plan to make a different choice every time! 😆
  18. Yes. His scruff validates my daddy issues. 😋
  19. Are you surprised? His ad says specifically that he does not top. Why would you do that? You basically wasted his time by asking a question he already answered. If your local florist has a sign up that says they don't sell roses...would you go in and ask for roses anyway? 🤨
  20. In the words of the Van Wilder generation: Don't be a fool, WRAP YOUR TOOL!
  21. It is okay to be mystified. Give it time - you will figure it out.
  22. Yes, I did. With purpose - didn't want to turn the thread into an economics lecture. I just checked my "special" number that I use for my hobby and there were 3 messages waiting for me. That is more than double the usual. Will keep track and see if more come in from companions as the stock market turmoil continues.
  23. If you want to believe production causes inflation because it is domestic... Go for it. 🙈
  24. I regularly clean my teeth (brush and floss). I go to the dentist twice a year for a deep clean. Perhaps think about what they are offering in that context. Unless you have 4 children, 2 dogs, a cat and a slob for a husband, you don't need a deep clean that often. They are probably just using the term to jack up the price. Ask them what they mean...only way to really know.
  25. My dear friend...you need to take economics 101 again. (Or ask for a refund if your comments are based on recent learning). Increased production does not cause inflation...it is primarily caused by increased consumption. It is called Demand-Pull inflation. 🤓
