Interesting indeed. A companion i have been seeing for 2 years, fairly regularly called me over the weekend and told me he wanted to become my live in boyfriend. I think a different rate sounds appropriate and clearly would make you more comfortable @figureskater. A corporate consultant may make $50 per hour behind his desk during the week, but makes $15 per hour when he drives an Uber over the weekend. It is not unusual for time to be valued differently by Mr Market. If driving that Uber means the consultant misses out on a consulting gig, that would be a different consideration.

Funny how many of those "fair minded people" allowed him to cloak his hate in religious beliefs for so many years. The families he broke apart, the lives he destroyed... I guess our definition of "fair" may differ quite a bit.
