Those folks in the pictures fought for the community to feel comfortable in their own skin. At the end of the day, those other folks trying to take away our gains don’t care how you dress up. They didn’t care back then, they don’t care now. 

So you call out as intolerant those asking for more rights and denouncing intolerance? Another very convincing argument for the bright  and squared minded.

Diversity is hard to digest for the intolerant.

As we approach the worst month of the year, it’s worth looking back at how our community used to be. Long ago, when Pride marches were just about gaining the same rights as all Americans, it was a respectable cause, and gays and lesbians were actually clothed and acted with decency. 
Contrast that to the kink-obsessed, hyper-sexual clown show it has become now, and you can see how far our “community” has fallen.  
The people you see in these pictures would be horrified at what has become of their movement today. They never wanted to push their sexuality on anyone, least of which children, and missing entirely from the picture was the trans mafia and “gender queer” crowd enticing minors to permanently alter their bodies. 
I seriously doubt we can get back to this place, before we lose all we've fought for and gained. We've already seen the backlash begin because of the "Alphabet Squad's" behavior!

The Eagle is not a bathhouse. I think it’s probably the only (at least profitable) leather bar left in nyc. It expanded during lockdown to include a decent sized dance floor. Saturdays get pretty packed but I always have a fun time. I usually get there around midnight and it’s already on the raunchy side. 
 
 he is at least being honest with you about his eagle nights. That’s pretty good.

Whatever you do, don't bring your female friends.  Your fellow gay customers will thank you.  Johnson's Ft Lauderdale allows females, but each female must be accompanied by a male in the group, they are not allowed to have private dances, and are constantly reminded by the DJ to stop "woo-hoo"-ing and screaming and to actually tip the dancers rather than just take up space near the stage.
