I agree. And in this age of 24/7 rolling news, whatever happened to the presumption of innocence until proven guilty?
-
Though generally you make a lot of sense @mike carey, on this I disagree with you. Some regional accents such as from Liverpool, Newcastle and parts of Scotland are really hard for English people from elsewhere to understand. That such speakers are employed by the BBC is due to a politically correct or left-wing agenda in that institution to show that all voices are valued and of equal merit. Comprehensibility is not a concern.
-
It used to be called Received Pronunciation (RP) and this was what was heard on the BBC in the UK. In recent years, however, the BBC has engaged in dumbing-down by promoting many presenters with regional accents - some of them with poor grammar and bad enunciation - in pursuit of diversity and to avoid charges by the left-wing of elitism.

Why would you tip at all? I know employees can be poorly paid and I generally tip well. But I’d never tip a disinterested and poor masseur after such a terrible experience.

I can’t dispute what you state @Rick M I can only state the obvious, that if you are interested in a “serious relationship” you have to keep dating. Escorts provide a useful service and may be delightful companions for a time, but... I’d add that you mustn’t lose heart. I certainly kissed a lot of frogs on old-fashioned dates before I met my ‘prince’ 6 years ago and I’m in my 60s.

I understand Americans taking pride in their country but this statement is not true. As giardia was mentioned originally, I agree with the statement by @Unicorn (“plenty of Giardia in the US”) It’s worth noting that the US draws 70% of its consumption of freshwater from surface supply whereas the figure for Europe is 35%. Of the amount taken from surface supply in Europe, it’s estimated that fully 50% is taken in the European part of Russia. Of course, the taste of water in the home varies in Europe and many people, like me, have installed a domestic filtration system and also consume bottled mineral water.

I sympathise @Quincy_7 but are you certain you got it that way? It’s a nasty bug and takes some getting rid of. It’s sometimes found in surface water supply, so if you’ve been hiking in the countryside... “ is this just part and parcel of enjoying men's bodies?” Not necessarily. I have a friend who’s a skilled and voracious rimmer. He’s done this for various men, including me, over the years and never contracted any illness from it.

Yes @Reisr30 your posts were polite. Please don’t stop posting in this forum as I found the thread you started interesting. And I too would be alarmed if someone brought drugs to a meeting with me. Just an aside, but I have as my general physician a man who is widely regarded as the best in Europe. I once asked him about testosterone supplementation as it has been discussed here before. His view was that there is no safe level of supplementation as no-one knows what is a normal level for a man. So there’s a strong contrast between the prevailing attitudes about this between the US and Europe.

My thought too

“ just an update ” ? Wow @asian sensatin You must have been very horny, and seriously busy, in the last few months!

Your sexual fantasy seems to be getting quite feverish @joethomas ;-)

Maybe, but what a way to go Possibly talented, certainly needy

It’s a good photo of Michael, but it might have been so much better if only those tight white pants had split

Intriguing. All the pics are of a beautifully-built Brazilian who is a fashion model named Mario. I’m certain because I dated him when he visited Buenos Aires. Of course, in these difficult economic times in Brazil, it may well be that Mario has decided to diversify....
-
IMHO not at all. There are sound economic reasons for so many guys from various countries working in London.

Maybe this is better in a PM as I don’t want to diverge from the original purpose of this thread, but I’ll be brief. First, this was maybe 6 years ago - I don’t know if the guy is still working. Second, my experience here is that commendations are welcome; warnings not so much. Whenever the guy was asked about here afterwards, I would post a note of caution about him overpromising/underdelivering. Describing a bad experience with a well-reviewed guy invites an avalanche of criticism from his fans and supporters. As mentioned earlier, I discussed my poor experience with a highly regarded reviewer (who’s played with many of the same guys that I’ve dated) as I wondered if it was ‘just me’; he confirmed that the guy had similarly ‘avoided’ sex with him. IMO when reading good reviews, it is important to remember chemistry matters and YMMV. Clients differ in their demands and wishes, and escorts vary as to whether they’re great company for an hour but not an extended hiring.
-
I’ve had the guy on the right, and I wouldn’t object to playing with the other 3 men

Can’t help but you have excellent taste @Ktripp He’s a handsome man

I agree with @GR0981 that @keroscenefire should be able to get within his budget a good guy for a couple of hours with dinner off-the-clock. It’s more than 5 years since I hired but I always enjoyed a BFE. I used to hire for an hour on an initial date to check compatibility as some guys lack social/conversational skills. Then I’d have an extended dinner-date with a good guy in an excellent restaurant. I usually paid $500 (plus the dinner costs), and no haggling was involved, in LA NYC and SF. Generally I had very good experiences. I recall only 2 guys who could not handle an extended hiring. One was a real Italian beauty I’d played with various times. He suggested I take him out to dinner on our next date when he looked very smart indeed. We had the usual great fun in bed first, but he grew morose over dinner as it became clear that he couldn’t make conversation. The other was a very well-reviewed guy on here who arrived late and wanted dinner first (he knew I’m a top). We went to an excellent steak-house on the UES where he drank most of a bottle of red wine, and he insisted on ordering dessert (some large creamy confection). I knew it was a ‘scam’ when we returned home and in bed, he announced he was “too stuffed” to bottom for me. (I later checked with a noted reviewer here, and the guy had pulled a similar scam on him)

Cade is a good looking young man. I particularly like the photos of him offering his ass up. Since he describes himself as a “VIP boy”, perhaps he responds only to a mature man who is able to provide continuing support.
-
Wise words @WilliamM If you’d seen him at your gym or met him while playing sports, I’d say “go for it” @joethomas but be honest with yourself about your motives. Otherwise I’d say “tread carefully” as you could end up spending a lot of cash just to be left disappointed and with very blue balls.
-
Very succinct @BabyBoomer. I recall those pics from way back and even then he was reported as not resembling them.

He’s Spanish and he’s made a literal translation of “beso negro” = rimming

BBC videos teaching kids that there are over 100 gender identities
MscleLovr replied to Walker1's topic in The Lounge
The BBC has come in for a lot of ridicule and controversy in the UK over this video.
