  1. I’ve found Google information to be accurate and timely. Just put “gay events” or “gay clubs” plus the name of the city you intend to visit into Google. In big cities, you can narrow it down eg “gay bars West Hollywood” or “gay pride Brooklyn”.
  2. I entirely agree @liubit I’ve always hated it when the bottom has climbed on top. I can never get a good rhythm going and I find it unerotic.
  3. Depending on the jurisdiction, the age of consent varies from 16 to 18. I believe that in New York the age of consent is still 17. FWIW a majority of the states have the age of consent set at 18. Also a majority have ‘age gap’ laws which apply if both parties are young and close in age. I understand @nycboi and it’s why, when approached by a young man, I insist on seeing ID first to check that he is of legal age. Over the years, I’ve been approached 4x by a nice, athletic young man who turned out to be aged under 18.
  4. It depends… When I'm feeling supremely lazy, it’s being flat on my back with a guy nestled between my legs worshipping my cock and balls to completion When I’m feeling energetic, it’s being on top of a guy flat on his back, his legs apart, his fingers interlocked with mine above his head, and I’m pounding his butt until he shoots all over his abs
  5. Reverting to the thread title…I’m old enough to remember that when I was a teenager, a guy with a 6pack was said to have “washboard abs”, and when I was a young man, a cup of coffee at Disneyland cost 25 cents and refills were free
  6. If you’re in decent shape @tanman4u AND a cocksucker to completion, I bet you’d find lots of (non-working) guys locally who’d be happy to channel your enthusiasm, teach you new techniques and refine your skills further.
  7. It’s astounding what flight crew have to endure. I find it reassuring that the FAA has a zero-tolerance policy for disruptive passengers and I’m glad that it now levies large fines (IIRC upto $37000 for each violation). I feel it would make more of a difference if criminal prosecutions were sought.
  8. And I don’t mean to pry @Lucky but how do you, and other locals, get through the hot months there? As an aside, for years I used to love spending much of the Winter in Key West (tho I haven’t been back since 2000) but I could never imagine living there year-round.
  9. I always wonder what all those Instagrammers do after the annual jamboree of showing off their bad fashion choices and music (aka Coachella)
  10. I completely agree @tassojunior. To me, her acting is always vulgar and rarely subtle. I don’t binge-watch it @OCClient. One episode per evening prolongs the pleasure for me. It is very enjoyable, and I feel it conveys very well the emotional intensity and ups-and-downs of the teenage years.
  11. This was notorious as the modus operandi in gay clubs/discos in Barcelona about 10 years ago. An attractive guy might suggest you go into the dark area together. With your pants around your ankles, he’d fellate you to completion and empty the wallet in your back pocket.

    Anal Toys

    Never share your toys @Buddy15
  13. I’ve always had some money in TIPS (Treasury inflation-protected bonds). And over the years, I found a few quoted equities that had inflation-proof characteristics. I view the money invested this way as my ultimate “rainy day” fund. As my grandfather memorably said to me: “You never want to wake up poor one morning”.
  14. In the past, I had success by sending a polite, complimentary DM asking if they offered personal training. Those who responded generally knew what I had in mind…and I emphasised I was generous and discreet. Of course, it depends on where you’re based and how frequently the guy travels…unless you’re prepared to pay for his flights. As others have suggested, it’s a long and patient process.
  15. A couple of years ago, I had the same sort of ‘transition’ @Cooper when my stockbroker died, aged 84. I didn’t ask questions as you suggested, but I outlined my stance on investment. My firm beliefs are: I want my money in equities managed conservatively, I want to be invested fully at all times, and I believe in progress, not activity So I want to be consulted before any sale or any purchase. I agree. Two replacements were proposed to me: the first seemed to be keen on every ‘hot’ stock, while the second had a more thoughtful approach. I talked to the second about the importance I attach to stock selection, and then letting compound arithmetic do its work. I told him he could sell any stock if he felt it was fully valued but he had to discuss it with me first. For the last 2 years it has worked quite well.
  16. I spend a lot of time in Spain, and I agree strongly with @SirBillybob: visit Granada AND Cordoba. Both rank as wonders of the world. Each deserves a full day visit but in Granada I’d stay overnight. I love visiting Andalusia, especially Seville, and you’re right @Rod Hagen to describe it as a “must visit”. You could easily spend 5-7 days there. Plan to travel from Seville by train to Cordoba (and also Granada)- it’s easy, fast and comfortable. I rate Salamanca (interesting university city) above Toledo (historic summer escape for Madrileños). But if your time is limited, both can be missed. I left Arcos de la Frontera last. It’s really a village with a spectacular setting…but I’d say it can be done in a morning visit followed by lunch. To me, it’s on a par with Ronda but less historic. I feel you can visit once but you wouldn’t return. And I know this may be controversial. May I ask others not to criticise me unless you have a full understanding. I’d recommend going to a tournament of bullfights. Remember that in Spain it is a cultural event of significance. It is taken very seriously in Andalusia. You should dress smartly to attend and book seats in the shade (“sombra”). There is an historic tournament in Ronda each year but tickets are like gold-dust; it is “a la goyesco” where the bullfighters wear 18th C costume and many of the spectators also dress accordingly. (I’ve tried for several years to get tickets for this but never succeeded)
  17. I understand what you’re saying @Rudynate but I never stated that there would be sex for money. I simply stated that @Doe Be Doe has to be in great physical shape and able “to perform”. Just my two cents but if he isn’t jaw-droppingly handsome and a good actor, he won’t “make money” as he wishes.
  18. First, find a rich gay man with too much money and a submissive streak. Then dominate him. It’s an easy way to make money provided you have 3 things a base in a city with lots of such men an extremely handsome face and a ripped, muscled body a very sexual nature and the ability to perform readily with much older men
  19. It’s a shame for the young man @Lucky but it’s hardly surprising. Singapore may well be a well-functioning society but it has always been characterized by authoritarianism combined with a strong streak of morality.
  20. Short answer: No. Long answer: I believe strongly in being polite, but I’m always very clear about what I enjoy doing (and having done to me). Guys have told me I’m generous. I don’t haggle and I expect full service. Any suggestion of a menu or ‘a la carte’ pricing is a deal-breaker for me.

    Barcelona Hotels

@AndreG has described it well. The small point I’d add is that Eixample is into two parts. It’s bisected by the Paseo de Gracia and you want to be in the Left part, ie West of the Paseo, to be close to the gay area and the sauna mentioned. Ideally you want a nice hotel in Eixample Left (or Esquerra de l’Eixample in Catalan) and above the Gran Via but below Diagonal. IMO Axel is rather basic. It was fine 20 years ago when gay hotels were rare. But in truth, you’ll be fine @JMan in any good BCN hotel as the city is very gay-friendly. Remember hotel receptionists have seen it all before 😉 Before I bought an apartment when I was a regular visitor to BCN, I stayed in a variety of hotels. I was always with a younger male companion and we were always treated well. Sometimes we were fussed over because the hotel wanted to ensure a gay male couple felt well-treated.
  22. I chatted to one model when he was working at a party (as a server and eye-candy). And I was introduced to the other model by a str8 friend of mine who knew my taste.
  23. Like @nycman and @Unicorn I had Pfizer for the first 3 and Moderna as the 2nd booster
  24. The masseur Roger listed by @coriolis888 is very much to my taste, more so than Roberto Bertolucci mentioned above and quoted below. But I don’t understand your approach @cotedeazur You describe him as “a very hot muscle god”. So if you want to have a passionate session with full sex, why fixate on his higher rate? BRL 700 is hardly expensive, especially if he’s coming to you - does $148 truly matter on a vacation in Brazil?
  25. IME @nycboi Yes…if you share my tastes for spectacular men. I have dated 2 guys in Brazil separately - each had featured as the cover model for fitness mags like Men’s Health - and I don’t regret it. The men were great in bed. Neither was crass/vulgar, and they did not consider themselves to be ‘garotos de programa’. Each man knew his worth and asked for “help” or “support” that equaled what you’d pay in the US/Europe.
