I understand @Wolfer but it’s impossible to rationalise. We all know that you can never be sure of what a guy is fantasising about in his head while he is servicing you (or being serviced by you). Similarly, you will find little logical coherence between what guys say publicly they do and what they’re willing to do privately either with another hot guy (possibly involving drugs) or with a generous paying customer (possibly offering more for specific acts).

I completely agree @bigjoey I’m happy with my investments (all long-term holdings) and I see no point in trading them. As we age, I think there may be a further problem for single gay men with a good income. Certainly in the pandemic, I found myself saving far more than usual. Unless you have a dynastic impulse, why try to get richer? I always recall my grandfather’s dictum on investing “You never want to wake up poor”

Yes, I do @jtwalker. I prefer clean cut, preppy young men with nice bodies. Of course, with the notable increase in facial hair, inked bodies etc, I’ve had to learn to accept the scruffy, designer-stubble look.

I’ve found Google information to be accurate and timely. Just put “gay events” or “gay clubs” plus the name of the city you intend to visit into Google. In big cities, you can narrow it down eg “gay bars West Hollywood” or “gay pride Brooklyn”.

I entirely agree @liubit I’ve always hated it when the bottom has climbed on top. I can never get a good rhythm going and I find it unerotic.

Depending on the jurisdiction, the age of consent varies from 16 to 18. I believe that in New York the age of consent is still 17. FWIW a majority of the states have the age of consent set at 18. Also a majority have ‘age gap’ laws which apply if both parties are young and close in age. I understand @nycboi and it’s why, when approached by a young man, I insist on seeing ID first to check that he is of legal age. Over the years, I’ve been approached 4x by a nice, athletic young man who turned out to be aged under 18.
