As can be expected, the NY Post has the best coverage https://nypost.com/2022/07/22/hunky-clark-kent-lookalike-steals-show-at-jan-6-hearings/

When he was young, I thought Dean Cain was heartstoppingly handsome. Your post @samhexum made me Google him for recent pics. Time has not been kind to him. He seems to have piled on the pounds while his acting career was on hiatus.

Some Instagram people I follow, and wish some escorted
MscleLovr replied to HoseMaster's topic in The Lounge
I know that #8 offered discreet companionship about 10 years ago. I’m not disputing your above statement that he’s Russian but IIRC he claims to be Ukrainian (but that may be due to Russia becoming a pariah state). -
I knew it! 😎 I’ve visited Australia many times over the years. I love the country…but I must say I’ve encountered quite a few Aussies who seem to regard the Kardashians as role-models. (And I’m not talking about ‘cashed-up tradies’ either).

When I was a child, I liked watching that TV show very much. Of course, the characters were newly rich but they didn’t flaunt their wealth. They simply enjoyed their money. They didn’t seek publicity and they didn’t take pleasure in putting down others. Oh @mike carey you and I will have to disagree. How could that posting of a pic of 2 private jets (with that caption “You wanna take mine or yours?”) be considered anything but vulgar? 🤔 Somehow I suspect that old adage of ‘rags to riches to rags, in three generations’ will be proved true with many of the newly rich of the last two decades.

Thanks to @samhexum for this thread. It’s the first time I’ve read anything about the Kardashians. They seem to personify the worst traits of the ‘nouveau riche’. There is only one aspect I don’t understand. Both @augustus and @BSR seem sensible. So how can they disagree about this being vulgar?

No, I don’t wish them ill. I’m not so sure that the law has kept up with the many new ways a family may be formed. But I’m sure many of us know of marriages that have broken down or become dysfunctional and acrimonious,…and suddenly people resort to lawyers. I was thinking of the parental rights, and also the grandparental rights, that might lead to some vexed issues of how the related parties remain involved in the child’s life. Rather, in the same way people often have a pre-nuptial agreement, I hope people have discussed what might happen in certain scenarios if things do go awry.
-
Intriguing post @Epigonos It seems to have worked out well, but my concern would be if the same sex marriage ever broke down. I hope they have all signed an agreement on visiting rights, parental rights, finances etc.

I can’t advise you @kben but you obviously have good taste in men. Have you considered taking the plunge and being “first” rather than “next”? 😎

A more innocent time @Charlie IIRC the summer of 1976 saw 15 consecutive days with temperatures above 32C (or 90F) in London.

How to get providers to arrive on time
MscleLovr replied to + DrownedBoy's topic in Questions About Hiring
A date may prove expensive but it should certainly be very enjoyable. For it to start off badly is simply wrong. I never had the problem cited by @DrownedBoy but I’m a stickler for punctuality generally. So I admire the suggestion by @Rod Hagen to ask nicely for the companion to be on time…(using the white lie) because I have a visitor/tradesman coming over later. Now if only I could use a similar tactic with a very old friend who meets me for dinner in a restaurant and often arrives 1 hour late… -
In central London, it’s currently 36C (or 97F). Forgive me for feeling smug. When I had the place fully renovated 20 years ago, I insisted on having air conditioning installed. Every English person I know said to me: “You’ll never need it” 😇 That temperature was recorded at Heathrow Airport today, a record 40.2C.

IIRC there was an episode of “Law & Order” on this. The ‘baddie’ was a prolific sperm-donor/father in NYC and questions arose over the possible future relations of his many children.

I suggest you find a rental property in La Jolla and try the commute. I think of it as being 30-40 minutes drive time (less late at night). I doubt that you will dislike La Jolla, and you may love it, but I can see that the commute is important to you. When I was young, I socialised with friends in Hillcrest and often visited Pacific Beach, but I found both too busy and didn’t want to live in either area. Now I’m old, I just prefer to walk everywhere and in La Jolla that’s easy. Also I enjoy drinking wine with my dinner and then walking 15 minutes to get home.
-
My suggestion is La Jolla. I prefer to live somewhere quiet (that offers easy access to the beach, stores, restaurants etc) that offers easy driving to the airport and other parts of SD. There are plenty of condos in the Village of La Jolla, and you should be able to find a rental so you can try out the area. It is calm, not noisy, and the location is very convenient.

I don’t mind it @prof And I quite like it when the house has a “cute” bare-chested young gardener 😎

Surely @Charlie the local stores sell Evian?

My surmise is that @SirBillybob is writing from Brazil and my best guess would be Rio de Janeiro or São Paulo

In answer to the thread’s title/question… Not outside prison visiting hours

Room simply must be made for the up-and-coming generations. The best performers will always arouse market interest with their innate ability to get the creative juices flowing. There is that ‘sweet spot’ in the market where the compounding interest of older men meets the burgeoning muscularity of younger men.
-
Sorry to hear you had a bad experience @Rick M Two big red flags for me would be (1) menu pricing and (2) dislike of kissing. I once hired a lovely blond muscleboy (Luke in SF). He lived upto his photos. However, only when we were naked, did he tell me that he didn’t kiss (“that’s only for my boyfriend”). The absence of deep kissing spoilt foreplay for me and detracted from the overall experience. Lesson learned, I always checked specifics with other dates so that we were fully compatible.
-
I understand your point of view @FewBricksShy but I don’t entirely agree. I feel it depends very much on the person you hire as your vacation companion. I always checked how compatible we were with a couple of overnight dates before any trip. What is important to me in the initial discussion is whether the man is a nice guy I can spend days with does he truly wish to visit the place I’ve chosen? It’s still work for the escort but if he is keen to visit Europe or Africa or Australia, he’ll be more flexible on the arrangements. And if he enjoys the vacation, he’ll perform better as my companion. I would always ask the guy first to tell me what fee he required for the trip. Over the years, I was often surprised by how reasonable the fees were. My instinct was that if a guy demands an excessive fee, he’s not interested and won’t make a good companion. And Yes, on several trips, I’ve had guys tell me “I want to pay for dinner tonight” 😃

Very nice indeed. I wonder if he is seeking “one careful owner” rather than a lot of short-term rentals…
