Coachella weekend good for escorts?
+ DrownedBoy replied to FrancisCA's topic in Questions About Hiring
From personal experience at an elite university, I can tell you the gay mafia starts young. They were mainly rich kids who stayed in the closet out of fear of their families' reactions or the possible effects on their career (obviously awhile ago). They'd hook up with each other, join fraternities, and look down on openly gay people. I couldn't stand them, with the exception of some of them who paid me to write their research papers. Rich kids are hopeless 😏 -
I think of my regulars as businessmen I work with, and that I've found to be professional, trustworthy, nice, and can get the job done. Same as my barber and mechanic. We get along and chat while conducting business, but business is the only reason we meet. Sorry, but if you pay money to see someone, they are neither a friend nor acquaintance. That doesn't mean you can't get along and compliment them on their trade. But it does mean it's improper to let personal issues and emotions come into it.

Yeah. Go for 299.95.

Awwww.....some nice dungeon pics would add so much color.....

I will report the following trend in Chicago. Prices stopped going up, and 300 is the highest hourly rate, unless you're a stud from out of town. Some good newbies have arrived in the 150 to 200 hourly market. The interesting thing is "price shaving." Established escorts with good reviews on RM are going just a bit under 300 (e.g. was quoted 280). This price shave is minimal, and to someone like me, makes no difference since I use cash and round up. However, it's a strong indicator of bad economic times ahead if escorts are competing in price, even if it's only a token discount.

How interactive are they?

How to ask a regular hire if he'll do more with you
+ DrownedBoy replied to antelope's topic in Questions About Hiring
Everyone here is right. Make sure his money is in a pile. Take a Benjamin, and ask your question while holding that bill over the pile. -
Ha! Got that too (I won't receive oral, only perform it). In some ways, RM can be just like Grindr. I recall one Chicago provider who, years ago, offered a 30 minute "quickie." I thought that was a bit tacky. (I later tried to hire the guy for an hour, but he wasn't into my stuff)
-
Don't ask for less than an hour. It sounds cheap and tacky.

When do I become a creepy stalker?
+ DrownedBoy replied to + APPLE1's topic in Questions About Hiring
If a provider is marked "Available," they'll be lucky if I give them 30 minutes. Otherwise I text someone else. Chicago has 200+ providers. If someone is offline, I usually give a day. -
Hey, all the interpretations of "residence" have been good so far......

Web3: Expanding reach beyond traditional Onlyfans platforms.
+ DrownedBoy replied to CalTec's topic in Questions About Hiring
Don't bother. Good luck getting any investors in a new fintech company. The app era ended less than 2 weeks ago, when SVB closed. Cryptocurrency is likewise proving to be a bad idea. Despite what libertarian investors think, people do need the hand of a government to keep them on track. You're going to need a lot of cybersecurity experts to help you. You're not going to find them (I'm one, and there's no way most people can afford me). Even the Silicon Valley layoffs won't help, since many companies ignore internet security. Grindr hired its first cybersecurity expert 4 years ago (I know him), and they still have massive data leaks. This business idea provides nothing that doesn't already exist, and nothing that a significant number of people would demand. -
Damn! Even when I was a little horndog and went through the chronic masturbation phase (when I was 13), it would have been hard for me to do that.
-
I thought he might be saying that he's a "legal resident" in the U.S. There are many clients who might dislike the concept of "hiring an illegal."
-
My personal favorite was a guy who flame-tapped me on Grindr a few months ago. I checked his profile, and he only spoke about wanting to settle down, maybe get married, etc., so I told him I wasn't interested in an LTR right now. Then he replied, "well I'm okay with fb too."
-
I can't. I'm strictly a one-good-orgasm-a-day man now.
-
There's several clients I would have refused to pay (they refused to do anything and left way early), but they were also the types to pick up the money first. Nowadays, I keep the money in sight, but not in reach, of providers when they arrive.
-
I hope he understands what he said in his interview: What makes you stand out from the crowd? my residency and masculinity
-
Hmmm he's a boss where he works. I'd apply to work there. If he sexually harassed me, I wouldn't contact HR.

Are deposit requests becoming a regular thing?
+ DrownedBoy replied to chelseanyc's topic in The Deli
Darn it, it's so annoying having to block users so I don't have to read these flame wars, but the weeds keep popping up in the garden. -
IMO I like how the new one opens a window for ads instead of navigating to a new page. With the old site, I was always right-clicking to open tabs to avoid that.

Yeah - and they pop up on RM when they need money, still using their 10-year-old photos. I've pegged several of those here. A hint - if you make an appointment, and they ask for a deposit at the last minute, cancel immediately. When one guy tried that on me, I just laughed at him over the phone and hung up. -

Yeah, I hate when they do that. I had an ESL that disappeared between his arrival and my condo for 30 minutes, claimed he forgot to charge his phone so he couldn't text me, and then said I owed him either $50 more or 30 minutes less. He regretted it. -
I like the new Rentmen but it's buggy. Especially when you use the photo slider.
-
Some RentMen clients (such as myself) explain exactly what they're looking for. It saves time to just text someone a link. Most do not, though. And I (like most clients, I'm guessing) only hire when I want to. Personally, I'd like to hold online auctions. I post my general address and what I'm looking for, and send it out for bids. Lowest bid that I find attractive wins RFP!.
