We're more likely not to notice our own (expressed) attitude than another's. It's more likely that we already know how it is to be perceived as having a bad attitude even when we don't mean it, so we're more tolerant of people with similar trouble.

Second that - Chicago is just as sprawling as LA or NYC. One thing you should strongly consider recording is does escort have a means of transportation, or do they expect Uber. Both client and provider can live near each other, but some escorts have no means of transportation. If a provider has 30 reviews and 1 is negative, I'm not too concerned. If a provider has 30 reviews and 5 are negative, you need to back off. I mentioned earlier about an escort who refused to see me after I asked why he had that proportion (about 15% negative ads). A few weeks ago, he just reappeared in a new ad, a new name, and no reviews. That's the biggest red flag of all; he did me a favor earlier.

Of course, it's their right to have plastic surgery to minimize their epicanthal fold. Just as it's my right to make the following judgment - someone who does that probably, at a deep psychological level, hates the race they were born into.
