I have seriously been looking at moving to Chicago and Ft Lauderdale when I retire in four years, spending  summers in Chicago and winters in Fort Lauderdale.  But the one thing that was keeping me from becoming too firm on that plan was the lack of gay strip clubs with lap dances in Chicago.  This is good news for me!

The trend is to avoid words from our own language to describe people that have a different linguistic background from us.  Since he is from Montreal, this phrase may be better suited for him than White Trash:

Well I'm back from my three days in Ft. Lauderdale.  I did go to Johnson's all three nights (Tue/Wed/Thurs).  I stay clear of bars on weekends as they get too busy and packed for my taste.  Anyway, all three nights at Johnson's were quite busy so I guess the high season for Florida has arrived.  Great fun all three nights.  As usual, lot's of latino dancers with a few Italians and Americans mixed in.  Only one fairly big muscle guy there.  He was from South Africa.   Tall with big muscles but strangely fem in the way he moved and danced.  Anyway, I spent time with Tobias (from Buenos Aires with a huge cock), Dorian (from Italy), Gregorio (from Cordoba Arg with a perfect big ass), Fire (from Madrid...super nice), Lionel (from Rosario Arg), and Mateus (from Medellin).  All good fun.  I always enjoy using my Spanish when I'm in the South Florida clubs.  There were multiple Canadians at Johnsons.  I did not recognize any of them but they said they were from Campus in Montreal.  Mostly on the smaller/skinny side so not really my type.  
The club was buzzing on the weeknights that I was there so I can only imagine what the weekend will be like.   Only a few women there...all of whom had a male escort.  Very handsome bartenders.  There are five lapdance cubicles to use.  They were all quite busy all three nights.

The nude parties don't actually have a "party" environment. Some guys do go with their friends, but you're much better off hiring a stripper or going to a club with gogo dancers.

True, but that has never been a problem for me.  I've always managed to have a good time.  The quality of most of the dancers at Johnson's more than makes up for any lack of privacy.  My attention has never been taken away from the dancer who is performing on my lap.

Well, @Anthony...let's just agree then that Adonis nude parties aren't  for you.  There are other places that you might enjoy more.

both Matt (LA) and Tim (NY) are smart and savvy managers of their operations and know the deal.......it's gotta be tough constantly looking for new talent, wooing them to participate, getting them to show, and getting them to come back again next week/month.......customers who show up, only to find the much-touted "headliner" is a no-show, have got to be wondering why it's worth it to even come back next time........and Tim/Matt are having to weather the grumbling from even loyal monthly customers, I assume.......tough, tough operation!.......
yeah, the earlier days with better-looking dudes were nice and I'm glad I got to see it......some here will remember the LA venue in Encino (?) just behind the 101 a few years ago.......sincere thanks to Matt and Tim for their hard work......I wonder how that crazy aunt of theirs is doing??!!

Look up Wild Men of the West Productions.  It is a group of male dancers which rotate among the gay bars in Phoenix.  You can be sure to know which days they will be dancing at which bars.
I cancelled my upcoming trip to Phoenix once I heard Dicks had closed.  But Wild Men of the West dancers were where I would have gone o before/after Dicks

Johnson's is still $10. Worth every penny!

The curtains at Campus have been gone for years. It has not deterred me from having a HOT time in the slightest.

Hi Bozo. I was concerned at first about how the absence of curtains at Campus would affect the private dances, but it was never a factor for me (or for the dancers, as far as I could tell). Maybe because it was not super busy when I was there, I got the most private corner booth every time. I am sure that helped.
