  1. I got to see it finally, as it was shown on a channel here prior to the Duke’s Funeral, which was at midnight local time on saturday night.

So I recorded it, and watched it yesterday.

As a fan of the series I thought it was pretty awesome, Barrow got to experience what gay life was like at the time, secret clubs that got raided.... and a future of romance with a nice man.

    I was happy with it

  2. I have done this on multiple occasions and I highly recommend it. I often will save it for a 2nd or 3rd meeting. “I want you to walk in in sweatpants and a tank top. Walk around the whole place, make sure everyone sees you, then come back and pick me and make sure as many people as possible notice that you’re picking me.” Soooo Much fun

that sounds hot - most of the SOP. (Sex on premises) venues here have a by law that no sex for payment can occur, but then how would they know.

  3. My father was 35 when I was born and my Mother was 40.

They had very old fashioned views about life, and were not at all modern, so it was a hell of an upbringing.

Very restrictive and their lack of energy/ enthusiasm due to their age impacted me greatly.

I was restricted from joining things, because they could not be bothered to run me around, but made me attend things like Scouts were I was badly bullied.

  4. Why did it take so long for the Queen to visit her very sick uncle and the Duchess in Paris

Well Her Mother the Queen Mother always blamed Wallis Simpson on her husbands death, at 52. If he had not become King due to the abdication, she believes he would have lived much longer.

So not sure if the current Queen shares the same opinion, but in respect to her Mother she chose to enforce the exile of her uncle. She did visit towards the end of his life and was present at his funeral.

  5. Attending is on my bucket list, but it looks like our borders in Australia will still be closed , suggestions of 2024 before International travel without restrictions. While I support keeping us as Covid19 free as possible, i find this restriction very frustrating

  6. I think the issue is quality of life.

If i choose to live to 80, but the last 10 years I am immobile and dependant on others doing all my needs, like toileting and cleaning, feeding me its better to go at 70.

However if I am 100, and still able to get around, enjoy life, (admittedly in a slower way), eat most of what i like and well then 100 is good.

Its like planning for your retirement, how much money do you need for that unknown length of time you are going to be alive

  7. I have had 4 handed massaged before and there are points for and against.

they work best when the two masseurs work really well together, they know their routine,(nothing is more off putting that hearing whispered instructions), and its best when they have the same pressure.

the feeling of four hands sliding up your legs in sensational

however then there is the confusion over whose dick do I focus on.

One on one works well but then again it depends on the skill of the provider. Find a good one and he can take you to heaven and leave your there for a while.

A threesome is different - its a sexual experience rather than a massage/ pampering session. Again it works if the two guys work well with you.

  8. When I was a child in Victoria Australia, the open road limit was unlimited, BUT you did have to drive at a speed that was safe. If you were stopped by the police you had to prove that you were driving at a safe speed to the conditions.

I do remember when they dropped the limit to 100 km on the open rd, 60 km in the burbs.

Many suburban streets are now 50 km, and school zones are 40 km.

There are some freeways that are 110 km and even a few country roads that are not freeways that have a 110 km limit.

Where I live in Western Sydney my local freeway heading to the city is 110k at my end, then goes down to 100 k then 90k then even 80k.

To complicate matters there are variable speed signs all the way, which can be lowered electronically by the Traffic Management Control, and they often do when the traffic is heavy, weather is bad, or if there are road workers or emergency workers on the roadway.

You have to be very aware.

Some of our major highways like the Pacific Highway between Sydney and Brisbane, the speed changes constantly, so 100 to 110 then back to 100 then down to 80 back to 110. It’s annoying, but cruise control is your saviour !!!!

  9. I meant savoury, some bakeries in country towns have amazing pies. But I wouldn't say no to a fruit pie with some ice cream. On my last long drive (Melbourne to Canberra) I stopped in a village where the bakery had at least a dozen varieties, good but not the best I've had, and did a decent flat white coffee. I love a good sausage roll, although they tend not to come in different varieties, just the house recipe. I must dig out a recipe I've made a few times for a Thai themed sausage roll, pork mince [ground pork] with garlic, ginger, chilli and coriander [cilantro] leaves.

Have you experienced “Long Track Pantry” in Jugiong, its our favourite spot to stop between Sydney and Albury...

  10. but why, pray tell, do they call it a period???????????????????????

    oops, is that a hijack????????????????????

    sorry....................;)

I have no idea, its always been called a period. what do you call it in other countries.

Periodis rooted in the Greek words “peri” and “hodos” (periodos) meaning “around” and “way/path.” This eventually turned into the Latin “periodus” meaning “recurring cycle.” Use of the English termperiod” to describe menstruation began in the early 1800s (1). These euphemisms are found in texts spanning millennia.

  11. Who ever said @westernsyd was a gentleman? ????

Lots of ignorant people have said and written lots of comments about me, some are true, some are urban legends set in stone, and some are just plain old funny , and then there is the really crazy ones who fail to realise that I was brought up rather than dragged up.

You should have capitalized the I after therefore and the T in 'the' at the start of a sentence (which didn't have a period at the end of it, btw). ????

Now I am guessing you do not understand Aussie humour, but mike carey does, we don’t use the term “period“ for the “dot“ at the end of a sentence, we refer to it a a full stop, we do hang around to some of our old English traditions here, all those convicts who settled our nation brought those traditions with them.

A period is Aussie is what woman use feminine hygiene products for.

Anyway Samhexum, we have not been formally introduced, so be a gentleman and do the decent thing, then you will really qualify to take the piss out of me, in a true blue fashion ..... and then you can bag out my poor grammar, (or how I chose to use it to piss you off) among other things on your journey to discover what a dead set top bloke I am - you may eventually qualify to be my best mate

  12. I have a roll top desk that was my Dads, and a grandmother clock that was my grandparents. My father tells the story of when the box arrived in the house, my grandparents lived in Suva Fiji, so it arrived in the house after a sea journey from Sydney Australia, my uncle and aunt were hoping the box contained a wind up gramophone, being around 1925.

The clock hung in my parents house all my life, regardless of where we lived, so I was happy to have it, and will pass it onto my nieces or nephews when i pass

  13. I bought a CD in New Zealand of Kiri Te Kanawa's amazing our door concerts in Wellington, Christchurch and Auckland.

It doesn't seem to be available in the United States

I have wonderful memories of Kiri Te Kanawa singing in indoor concerts in both Wellington and Auckland, and one in the Hunter Valley outdoors north of Sydney, but outdoor concerts tend to attract people who are not classical fans, it become more about sharing some wine and chatting than listening to the Prima Donna

  14. My parents spanked me when I was a kid and I hated it or had bad memories of it. I'm with you that I don't understand this type of fetish but to each his own.

I talked about this with 2 gay friends of mine and one grew up never being spanked by his parents or teachers yet he is into being spanked nowadays by his lovers. Another had a similar upbringing to me and he, too, dislike being spanked.

I think nowadays parents don't spank their kids anymore but rather just do a timeout of some sort. I wonder if more gay men in the future will be into the fetish of spanking simply because they didn't have that 'indelible mar k' you and I had when we were kids.

I was spanked at school and at home, and certainly did not enjoy it.

However now I do love a good spanking session.
