My well-informed sources tell me that this is rare. There are several online services that offer a variety of options to confirm ID for the safety of the client but usually don’t require photo IDs - just a registration process. Like RM and here, most have no identification requirements. 

I don’t discuss my clients with other clients! That’s totally awful mostly of my clients are  successful guys, business men, married and very discreet. And I just share sometimes about my bad experiences or some really good experience that I had. But I never discuss about my clients or something personal of them. 
 

I may not be typical, but I don't need a video or explicit pictures. A few natural shots of the body waist up is fine, face photo (smiling preferably) and intelligent text. Humble is better than arrogant for me.
Someone looking to please a client goes further than one looking for 'generous' clients.  That's always an easy pass.

My comment is not that one should do something they do not like, rather, they should not dislike something they have not tried.  Not having a desire to something is an aversion but it is different than a dislike which is related to experience.  One can have both an aversion and a dislike but sampling is necessary t for a dislike but not for an aversion.  
One might have this example:

Expert advice has been given on this forum countless times……That advice was and is ….”Enjoy your BFE for as long as it lasts and never forget it’s a fantasy!” So by default, you need to not have a reaction when hearing about other clients. It’s still good advice!

I am cringing at the behavior of this provider.  I would never behave this way and I don't know any of my friends that would either. Disgraceful.

For whatever reason, it sounds like he was dissing you big time. A reasonable person wouldn’t act like that unless they expected or wanted to be abruptly dismissed. I’ve encountered entitlement before but nothing on this scale and on the one occasion where it was satisfactorily resolved, I had a frank, blunt exchange about the limits of my largesse. I agree with other’s suggestions of not doing overnights with strangers, for this reason.
