It’s not a crap shoot but with a trustable fiduciary (yes, there are plenty out there) helping you construct a diversified investment plan, you should do fine long term. From what I can gather, some were harassed / bullied / trolled by some toxic CoM members here.  It stems from an inherent asymmetry in power and exposure here.  The clients can remain anonymous behind mysterious user IDs whereas some decent, genuine providers choose to show their real (work) identities.  Also, the secret clients have absolutely nothing to lose when throwing random (perhaps even unfounded) shades at the providers while the providers have a business and reputation to represent and defend when confronted with false accusations.  I'd imagine it could get very exhausting and time consuming.  That's probably why some providers quit CoM altogether and some take on a different alias when posting here.

Yes.  Queer literally means strange or abnormal.  I know many of us like the attention of being different, but most just want to be treated that sexual diversity is normal, and not something inexplicable and strange.
