Anyone had an encounter with him since late 2023?

I understand that feeling. Especially when I first started hiring. I felt like, "I'm so ugly it's come to this." I still get that way at times, but mostly I like the convenience. And what I lack in looks, I make up for in respect, likability, enthusiasm and reliability. I have a couple of guys who have quit advertising but still see me. And I know I get lower than the going rate.

I met him a couple of weeks ago and enjoyed the encounter. He's a little on the quiet side but fun once you get going.

I've never had a session where WS was the main focus, but I've definitely had times where we discussed it as something to do at some point during the visit. I won't bring up WS unless it's listed in his profile already. I have a couple of regulars who really enjoy being WS givers, so it's now integrated into the planning. They hydrate ahead and I have plenty of water and/or beer on hand upon arrival. I can't do it unless the provider is well hydrated.

It's definitely not a selling point for me. If I like everything else about the profile and it's just in there one time, I usually let it slide. But if he's giving the finger in other pictures, too, and generally gives a sketchy vibe, I move on. I think some Tops do it because they think it makes them look tough. I think there are better poses to get that "service me vibe" across. For instance, of picture of him in a relaxed manspread while sitting in a chair with an erection and big grin on his face. Give me a couple of those and an easy-going Alpha vibe in the write-up, and I'm likely at least ask your rates.

I'm less likely to hire someone with no anal involved, but there are times, for sure, when I just do oral sessions. And sometimes that's my desire, not the provider's limits.

Red flags: Profiles with just a few pictures and just a few words in the descriptions. Providers asking for a deposit upfront. Profiles with pictures that I recognize from five or 10 years ago. Pro-active complaints about clients. Super vague descriptions. Name changers (I don't mind one name change, but when it becomes a habit).

Just saw this. I met with him once. I wouldn't suggest him if it's your first few times meeting up with a provider with his kind of Dom energy. But if you have even a little experience under your belt and are drawn to his type, you might have a good time. I'd meet with him again, but it didn't work out schedule-wise.

I don't have an issue with "upcharges" as long as it doesn't become a long laundry list and I know about them upfront. But I can understand someone charging more for anal either way and more for bottoming than topping. Those are bigger asks, I think.

I'm not necessarily looking for "nice," but I certainly want someone dependable about appointments, discreet about the arrangements and trustworthy no matter how animalistic the encounter might be. A "gentleman in the streets, a devil in the sheets" kind of situation. And if "nice" and "friendly" and "outgoing" are part of that package, so much the better.

He's unreliable. I once took a Lyft to see him and while I was on the way, he texted and said he couldn't make it. He came to my place the next day and I got a session with my Lyft ride there and back discounted. It was OK if I'm being generous. I had forgotten about him until I saw this post. Bottom line: I think he's a flake.

I have never fallen for an escort beyond an unusual type friendship, and I don't think I ever would. I am pretty good about staying grounded in reality. I like having a small circle of regulars (3 to 4), and I rarely have regulars that I actively drop. Various reasons why it ends: 1. Provider quits the business altogether. 2. Provider moves to another city. 3. Sadly, death one time. 4. Providers changes the parameters of meeting. (For instance, one guy I like a lot wants a week's notice. I'm just not in a position to offer that. Another's price doubled. I just couldn't afford that steep an increase). 5. Sometimes there's just a drifting away with no real reason. Now I have deliberately quit reaching out to a few who radically changed what's on offer or stood me up several times in a row or got mad because I met with other providers. But usually if I'm a regular with someone and then I'm not, it's usually a change on the provider's end, not mine.

My understanding is a bug allowed more than 500 words. But it's been fixed. So if someone tries to ever update or make change, they need to shorten to 500 or less.

I got a call a couple of nights ago from a provider. He said RentMen is limiting providers to 500 characters in their write-ups about themselves. Which I found odd and limiting -- I told him he might be misunderstanding. But his was not. RentMen told him that the site had always meant to do that but had a bug in that field that allowed more than that. Now it's 500 characters max. So I helped him cut his ad in about half without losing too much in the way of key info he wanted to provide. And then I looked at a string of ads. The text is indeed more limited now. Anytime anyone updates their info, the 500-limit goes into place.
