  1. You are clearly just looking at this from one side. Sure, inflation causes prices to go up. But many of the restaurants you spoke of went out of business. Others lowered prices. McDonalds brought back lower value meals. Chili's has thrived because of $11 meals. Sure, higher end restaurants, like providers, may be able to just up prices and survive, to think that model works for everyone is naive.
  2. Sounds like a failure to understand economics. If the economy goes bad, fewer will be able to afford services. Current providers would have to either be ok with fewer bookings, or lower the price. If the economy is bad enough that many others go into this line of work, competition for fewer dollars might drop the prices more. Conversely, if there are fewer providers, those still working can raise their rates. It's not an insult or an accusation. It's simple economics. Not sure why everyone is so angry about it.
  3. We'd also be good editors in helping you with a profile descriotion that would interest us.
  4. 4.hours seems like an awful lot, but if the last two hours are $100 each, I'd feel silly not taking them.. maybe a 2 hour rest in the middle would work out well.
  5. Everything is a con to some and a pro to others. Your age and look seem to me to be assets. A D1 athlete checks a lot of boxes for a lot of guys, so if you enjoy (or can fake it well) what you do and get a good reputation from the start, you should have success. Being a college athlete likely means you will not be able to host, so be careful going to people's homes, but other providers can likely help you more than I with that sort of thing.
  6. This is silly. I don't need to open up a restaurant to tell you that it's overpriced or that the food sucks. All I ever expect from a provider is that he looks like his pictures, does what he promised to do, and treats me with the same respect I treat him with. I can complain about the value I get for my money all I want. If the chemistry isn't there or he isn't willing to do things we didn't agree to (and I didn't pay for), such is life.
  7. I don't think it's generous guys that pay the Uber. It's rich guys or guys that can afford to lose it. For me, trust goes both ways. I'm supposed to trust that he's not going to take my money and flake, but he's not going to trust me to be a real person? I'll talk on the phone or video chat to give him comfort, but I'm not paying for anything in advance, sorry.
  8. Couldn't agree more. If additional services are given, sure, but no other service provider does. A plumber let's you know the cost of the service call, and then adds travel expenses later. (And one might argue these providers are plumbers
  9. And they could make decent money twiddling other things. Even if it is only $150 or $200 an hour instead of $300.
  10. Sometimes I feel like the opposite everyone else? Finding out someone has OF or does porn makes them less desirable for me. If certainly not pay more because of that. Maybe because I like the BF experience, I'd prefer the illusion that I'm a little special. 😉 I also have a tough time paying a lot for someone I've never met and don't know how comfortable I'd feel. Someone whose pictures are all graphic or talks only about the size of their equipment isn't erotic to me. I'd much rather have a humble guy with lower rates and tip him well.
  11. I'd like a longer first session in order to get comfortable with someone. I would want to start with a massage and some talking before I'd jump into sexual acts with someone I don't know. After that first go around, I think an hour would be fine.
  12. I absolutely sympathize with having to deal with idiots like that. Unfortunately it's something we have to deal with in any customer service field. I know I don't have the option of telling everyone that because of some pain in the ass people, everyone else has to jump through hoops to get to me. I don't fault you, but personally I'm out when all I get is an autoreply to a carefully written reach-out for something specific.
  13. I hate this idea. 1) While most providers may have a throwaway phone number, most clients don't. I don't necessarily want everyone tonhave my phone number. 2) if you don't correspond via RM, apparently you can't write a review. (Not that reviews are worth much) 3) I wish they would ban autoreplies completely! I hate getting them. Not only are they impersonal, they don't usually answer the question I've asked, they usually tell me that I have to do something else to contact you AGAIN, and are often advertisements for OF or another service I don't want. Now if they said something like "Thank you for your interest. My rates are "xxx". I only check this email every couple of days, I apologize for the delay, but will give you a personal reply shortly" I think that would be fine. But otherwise when I get an autoreply, I move on to another provider. I'm interested in how other clients feel about this. Maybe it's generational, but ita almost like a phone tree where you can never get a real person ;).
  14. My one piece of advice as a relative novice myself.is to book two hours. You want to be able to go slowly, get comfortable with each other, and not feel rushed. As for the other particulars, I'll leave that to the experts, as toppings or bottoming isn't part of my menu.
  15. So has anyone actually met with this guy? I'm intrigued amd may be stuck in the Charleston area a few days.
  16. I'm sure clients could come up with a pretty good list of "don'ts" for providers as well. 😉
  17. He must have shrunk. His listing nowstates 6'3"
  18. When you seach rentmen.com in your town, how selective are you? Is it a buffet for you, and you want to try one of everything? Or do you put on a bunch of filters, and still are happy to find one or two you'd be interested in hiring. Or somewhere in the middle? Im in the "lucky to find one or two" group. I'm wondering if its because Im bi/leaning straight and just not into most guys, or if this is normal for all guys. And did this change for you over time?
  19. Don't think so. It's just a matter of degree.
  20. I cant imagine spending $1k for any guy. Maybe Farrah Fawcett back in her day, or Kristen Chenoweth a dozen years ago, but with guys, I need to know them before I'd get that worked up.
  21. What are your biggest HOF snubs? 1) Kenny Anderson, Cincinnati Bengals, football HOF. Until he gets in, this HOF is a joke. His numbers are better than many in the hall. He poineered the west coast offense, and did so with mostly bad teams. 2) Pete Rose. Say what you will, but his records are already in the hall, and unlike the PED crowd, all of his amazing stats are legitimate.
  22. Height isn't a factor for me at all. Since I prefer smooth slim guys, they tend to run shorter, but as long as they qualified on that basis, height wouldn't be a deterrent.
  23. Jakefromstatefarm looked kind of cute. What did they say the problems were?
