  1. Maybe you need to move to Orlando. Granted, I don't reach out locally very often, but it seems guys here dont read messages very often. You can see when they've been read on RM and rentmasseur, and when they read, they respond, and then don't read again for a while, sometimes days. Makes me understand the shotgun method! Just not very serious here, apparently.
  2. Doubtful. I dont think there are enough straight women comfortable with or desperate enough to have to pay for sex to keep that many straight men in business. It's likely straight-leaning guys who just aren't repulsed by gay acts. I've never understood why seeing two guys or girls having sex would gross someone out that much. If you see two dogs having sex and aren't disgusted, does that mean you want to partake in that too. Its OK to not be aroused by something yet not find it disgusting.
  3. I guess, as usual, I'm an anomaly. I considered myself straight until I started dabbling in this hobby a couple of years ago. When I first meet a provider I always shake hands. Just what guys do in my world. After intimacy (not actual fucking, as that isn't on my playlist), a handshake goodbye would seem silly to me. Then it seems a hug is appropriate.
  4. Funny, my experience has been the opposite. Gay providers that have said their first sexual experience was with a female.
  5. Maybe it's me (usually is 😉), but I'm really only interested in an oral happy ending to a massage. It's easy enough to say that with an escort, but it seems over the line for a sensual massage. Is anyone else like this and how do you broach rhe topic? Frankly, I can jerk myself off. Sure, it's nice when it's someone else, but I really want what I can't do myself ;). Not interested in anal, so it seems like getting an escort is a bit of overkill. Thoughts or tips to not make this awkward or offend a masseur?
  6. I'm happy if there is one provider my type, so shotgun isn't going to work for me. I'll have one top choice, reach out with what I'm looking for and when, ask him to review my profile, and if he thinks we're a good fit, to let me know rates and availability. I also don't count autoreplies as a response. If I don't get a response within a day, I'll move on. But I generally like to plan in advance when I'm out of town and have a hotel to host in, so I have time to wait. I also wouldn't want to have two (or God forbid more) guys giving me a positive response and then having to tell one nevermind. I don't want to waste their time. It would also be stressful for me to have to do that.
  7. Not sure where this guy has been hiding. Anyone have the pleasure? https://rent.men/AALEXANDRO
  8. This definitely looks like a different guy.
  9. I don't really care about how they tick a box. As long as they are willing do do what I want and act like they're into it, why should I care. I'm sure most gay guys are going through the motions for the $ anyway. It's a show, and if they're good actors, its OK by me.
  10. You are not alone. I always make sure there are some refreshments available, and ask what they like in addition to telling them what I want in bed. I do want them to enjoy themselves as much as possible, even if they are the provider. It might make it easier to act like their into it when they aren't ;). I also sent a provider some information about attractions and restaurants in a town we were visiting so he could give some input and maybe look forward to something he wanted to do. I think its just part of being human to be kind to people you are spending time with, even if they are being paid to be nice to you.
  11. Back hoes seems like an unfortunate name choice
  12. I understand your dilemma, but the market can only bear so much. Inflation may have made a hotel room expensive, but that doesn't magically make $300 for an hour affordable for many of us. Especially as many of us hiring are older without an unlimited budget or who can just get another job to fund the hobby. Maybe a solution would be 2 hour sessions to cover the room and make it more of a value. I know I'd rather splurge for 1200 for an overnight than spend 300 for one hour. Or stick to outcalls where the guest provides the room. All solutions suck, I'm sure, but you can't get blood from a stone. And after all, this is a luxury. I also think, as said on another thread, that RM should have the functionality to list fees that might apply to "close to" locations, since when I see a provider goes somewhere he's listed as a nearby city, I expect that to be someplace convenient (and profitable) for him without upcharging me.
  13. Well I can make a hat, I can make a brooch, I can make a pterodactyl..
  14. Just in case someone missed it.
  15. I was actually watching the massage video on his RM ad, and noticed he didn’t stop talking the whole time which I thought was odd. There was music, so you couldn't hear what he was saying, but it certainly syncs with what you experienced.
  16. If someone is that concerned about my age, height and weight, he should be paying me the $300/hour.
  17. I don’t understand the age shaving here. While I'd never spend $500 for an hour, he looks amazing. I don't care if he said he was 32.
  18. I assume this is a typo, but on this board you can't be too sure. 😉
  19. It's none of your business what he does before or after you. I would point out that you want to make sure you don't feel rushed, and let the professional handle it. He may ask you to book a longer block. He may start wrapping things up earlier so it doesn't seem abrupt. He may not book anything immediately after you, to make sure he isn't. He may decide that you aren't a good client for him. Communicate your concerns is usually the best advice.
  20. Well that's annoying! I have no sympathy for people who don't read what's out there. I'm sure this is tough enough for you without people who ignore clear information. I try to be very clear what I'm looking for when I ask for a rate. I guess if I were a provider I would only list as "nearby" places that were included in my rate and wouldn't require an overnight at a hotel. It would be nice if the RM or other sites listed an option like "willing to travel to (additional fees apply)" section for you. But when I'm going somewhere and search the location for providers, if the provider listed that city as an area they cover, I don’t feel like their transportation there should be additional.
  21. I guess I'm in the camp that if you list a "near travel" location, it's someplace convenient that you're willing to travel. Maybe if you expect extra for the locations you listed as your area, you should make that notation in your ad, or ask for the location before quoting a rate and include your travel time/expense in the quote.
  22. If he can't reach my dick with his mouth, he's too low.
  23. I'm 5'10" but provider height doesn't matter to me. Slim and smooth is what matters to me. I was surprised once when a provider I was talking to asked how tall I was and seemed excited I wasn't short. I wonder of many clients are on the short side? Seemed like an odd question and reaction.
  24. I don't prefer it, but if it was in a way that didn’t seem repulsive to them, it would be ok.
