Yes you should have told him your roommate was there. Reverse the situation. Would you be comfortable if you were going to his place and unexpectedly found his roommate there?

I've had none of those issues from Prime, other than a next day promise sometimes go to two days. Rarely any longer and they always email me giving me an opportunity to cancel or re-order. Returns hassle free at my local UPS store...although that could change this year, not sure if their new policy will affect my locale or not.
I'm a fan of Prime and will continue it. Already signed up for the $3 no commercials.
Re: other streamers I'm dropping them when there's no content I'm interested in. Just returned my Cox cable box, went to a internet only with Cox and subscribed to YouTube TV. Loving the change. About a net $120-140/month savings.

I’m grateful that I’m  enjoying a fulfilling retirement. I remind myself every day how lucky I am to be  a 70 year old who lives a very nice, happy life. So many gay men of my generation died way too young; many before they were even 30 years old. I’m grateful I avoided an early death. I’m also thankful for my friend's whether we have been friends for sixty years or six months. Finally , I’m thankful for this website.

I used to think that was what I wanted, too, but I found I am actually happier in a mixed gay-straight retirement community, where everyone is tolerant of one another. Although a large part of the 55+ gated development I live in consists of gay males, most of my friends among my neighbors are straight couples and women.
