  1. there’s something in the eyes that say crazy
  2. It was great. hard to beat Le Meridian Bangkok given location, food, rooms & service. really extraordinary & well done. I can’t wait to go back
  3. this is the best summary of the situation nyc is one of the best niche business incubators in the country - if there is market demand for a product or service, it will likely exist in New York. the very fact that there is no spa specializing in older masseurs tells you there is no demand & probably no ready supply of older masseurs either, who willing to work in walk-in situations and face constant rejection bc vast majority want younger. It’s really that simple. the older guys have migrated to apps where they know when being contacted, the client is looking for older & no rejection. we live in a youth based society for all almost things - like it or not
  4. "The Sound of Music" in theatre, 1964
  5. for those easily offended - I’d suggest avoiding online forums where one behaves as an aggressor and somehow doesn’t think there will be a response. interesting to note the online tough guys are always the first to run to mods for censoring/cancellation. funny how that works
  6. AlfonsoXL - dependable, pics are real & profile accurate. easy to schedule with. very nice guy
  7. if this is a recurring issue for you - just make it clear you expect a full 60 minutes when booking & ask for acknowledgment you will get that time….before you finalize the time, place & payment.
  8. I never try to book with short notice. usually it’s a day or two in advance & then it’s trying to see who is really going to be available. That presents another problem tho because some providers only want to be contacted when the client is ready to go, at that moment or same day. So, there will always be some disconnect when contacting & trying to schedule. Some RM profiles have specific instructions re: required lead time & that is always appreciated. it really doesn’t work tho when trying to make contact & several hours go by with no acknowledgment. At the very least there should be some text auto-reply with basic information. The basic information would be rate incall/outcall, a general description of incall facility (neighborhood only) and general hours they work. And super helpful if they say they return all inquiries within 1-2 hours. There’s no reason for for several hours delay when everyone has a phone at all times. And while there may be extended appointments at times that prevent returned texts, that is not the norm.
  9. it’s all about context I don’t think there is anything wrong with negotiating rates with providers. Although most providers on this forum have expressed they don’t like clients that engage in haggling for a lower rate. I don’t ever try to negotiate - either I pay the requested rate or move on to a different provider. I think it’s insulting to the provider to haggle. But the discussion here is specifically about “migrant men” which implies some sort of temporary or undocumented status and using that as justification/leverage to pay a lower rate, then I think that’s wrong, morally distasteful, crass & exploitive. The OP did not frame the discussion this way, but it went there. obviously, we all come from different backgrounds & treat people in different ways. I just choose to treat the men I meet as real human beings & my equal in every situation, no matter the place or circumstances. I don’t examine their immigration or economic status and somehow think I can use that to pay less. In fact, I usually always pay more via tips in those situations because for me, it’s the right thing to do. as I’ve said a few times here - there is a way to navigate this hobby with dignity, grace & kindness for all involved. I know this makes a difference because the guys I hire tell me exactly that.
  10. wow. it’s absolutely dehumanizing to think human beings can be financially taken advantage of bc of their economic or immigration status. especially in context of sex work. i truly feel sorry for anyone you hire. such bad energy & karma. what goes around comes around
  11. South of the Border is a random user name I chose. It has nothing to do with where I live or my ethnicity. Your made the assumption that I lived somewhere in S America or Mexico based on the username. You've referenced it several times & I just never corrected you bc it didn’t matter. there is nowhere on this board I’ve said or implied I lived in S America or Mexico. I never have. That was something you created in your head based on your preconceived ideas….just one example of many incorrect assumptions.
  12. why would I join a South American forum, when I’m in Europe & referencing a European provider ? comprehension skills are a good thing
  13. if you have to spoon-feed him the appropriate translations - it kind of negates the shade he intended. kudos for trying to throwing him a lifeline tho.
  14. sorry I didn’t reply earlier - I was out meeting a provider. for real sex. and it was glorious I don’t really do reviews on European providers bc it doesn’t seem to be what the people here are looking for. I’m available by PM if there is interest. the best of the best
  15. LOL - well, he was in Bangkok until early January. Long story & I don’t know him, but it was obvious we were at same hotel, Le Meridien. Interesting tho that he didn’t post a thing about any of the many diversions in BKK. I did
  16. I’ve met him. Nice guy & looks like his pics. There were definitely performance issues on his end. Every one can have an off day & thsts understandable. But, I would not repeat the thing with true XXL dicks is some of them don’t get 100% hard. there are ways to fix it , but the provider needs to be prepared for that.
  17. yada yada yada - the fact is for whatever reason, the richest country in the world has a declining life-expectancy while other countries do not. and it’s not unique to anyone one group - all groups are experiencing decline. Maybe the question to ask is why do so many need to use drugs, commit suicide and are otherwise unhealthy? There’s a reason it’s unique to the US - it’s not a fluke and it’s not random.
  18. preventative & basic healthcare for all is not in any way comparable to education. Healthcare is necessary to survive. Thus, the dismal outcomes & declining life-expectancy in the US compared to other rich developed countries. i happen to have excellent insurance in the US - and have still been hit with staggering out-of-pocket expenses that are just not an issue in other countries. I can afford to pay - but many cannot. and back to topic - minority populations are less able to pay the exorbitant out of pocket fees. So, many avoid basic healthcare on that reason alone
  19. this thread is borderline distasteful at best. “Migrant men” seems to imply there is some financial advantage in dealing with new arrivals. I don’t think the OP meant it that way, but some of the subsequent comments go there. When navigating this hobby, there’s a way to do it that offers dignity & grace to all participants. All are human beings and worthy of your respect & kindness. Somehow thinking there’s a financial advantage to be had is very poor form.
  20. the root cause of inequitable healthcare is the basic setup of the American healthcare system - meaning no universal healthcare for all people. This inordinately affects minority populations with worse health outcomes because they have less access. none of this is new information and the US healthcare system is notoriously (among rich developed peer countries) inefficient, costly and with the worst overall healthcare outcomes. you need to look no further than the declining life-expectancy in the US among all groups - white, black, urban & rural. this same trend of declining life-expectancy is just not happening in other rich developed countries. Even relatively poor countries have higher life-expectancy than the US now. when healthcare is based on money & profits, instead of delivering quality basic healthcare to all people this is what you get. nothing will change relative to US healthcare until universal healthcare is delivered to all & that won’t happen during any of our lifetimes. Aside from inequitable healthcare based on race, there also are startling disparities based upon the state of residence - which may have a correlation to race. Mississippi, West Virginia & Louisiana have the lowest life-expectancies while Hawaii, Washington & Minnesota have the highest. Between Mississippi & Hawaii - there is almost a 9 year difference. my European friends frequently ask me if the things they hear about US healthcare are true - mainly it’s two points: is is true some people have no access to healthcare & is it true that even people with insurance have enormous medical bills that can cause financial devastation. Yes on both. Something is very wrong when the richest country on earth somehow cannot figure out basic healthcare. Unless of course, they really don’t want to figure it out because there is too much money on the table as is for invested parties. And then there’s the food - which also plays a huge part in health outcomes. The US is an outlier lacking the same food standards such as the EU which bans many preservatives & additives negatively affecting health. Again - it’s about money & the payments to US politicians which prevents any real change. Unhealthy food will make a population of unhealthy people - not complicated. Americans like to think they have the best of everything & in some areas, they do. Healthcare is not one of them. It’s basically like buying a new Mercedes and getting a used car that’s been in an accident & missing parts. And yet, a large segment of the population doesn’t want any change - because they don’t know any better. They’re all in on the propaganda fed to them by those in power & making money on the system as is.
  21. they do, but they can’t help themselves. i have a brother like that - a benign conversation somehow gets linked to the latest political talking point/conspiracy theory of the day. when everything is seen & interpreted through a political lens, it makes conversation impossible & impossibly boring. It’s not partisan - it’s actually both sides of the US system. They all love to talk about things they can do nothing about. Complete waste of time. Vote at election time - other than that, maybe try reading a book ?
  22. same - and, I’m going next week & will get the details in person.
  23. I’m kind of ok with racist people who can admit it - at least they are clear about who they are, take it or leave it. The ones that dance around the edges & can’t own up to it - NO
  24. while technically free to choose/post topics at will, except blatant politics - there are hundreds of alternate sites where one can discuss topics like Harvard academia, all things political and all adjacent subjects. yet, there is only this one site that is set-up to discuss providers, reviews & adjacent topics. and some people just can’t resist trying to drag everyone down into their miserable politicized rabbit holes. And if you notice - it’s always Americans doing this. They can’t help themselves. This is a site about sex - wtaf ??
  25. obviously. and if someone wants to stir shit bc they are otherwise bored af, that’s all permissible based upon TOS.
