rojjodc got a reaction from Luvbigmusc in Johnsons Fort Lauderdale (Wilton Manors)
No, the Wilton Hotel & Pool Club is a separate proposal from at least 3 years ago. They (I don't know who) bought some property on Dixie Avenue off of Wilton Drive, west of the Five Points intersection that included a closed funeral home. They were looking to secure financing and put scaffolding around the property sometime in 2025, but the community rumor is that they will not move forward with the construction because of costs. The Tryst proposal is a separate one, and it is right on Wilton Drive, encompassing much of the property that includes the Art Frensies and Executive Offices properties next to Johnsons. I was not aware that it includes the Johnsons property. It certainly would make sense if they could take over the Wilton Hotel & Pool Club proposal, but I have not heard anything of such.

Well, they aren't closed yet (at least I think so). The world is littered with thousands of successful businesses that were ruined by new owners, who either did not know how to run it, were overly ambitious or just didn't care.

Some financial analysts are comparing the current stock market environment to the late 99s/early 2000s Internet bubble. It's kind of interesting because I believe that during that period, another LGBTQ company, PlanetOut, went public and bought up some businesses, including one of the original all gay cruise companies, RSVP Vacations. PlanetOut rode the Internet bubble and crash --- to bankruptcy, and RSVP sank with it. RSVP eventually was bought by Atlantis Vacations and never recovered. It seems like we are seeing a rhyme with Pride Holdings. Cheap stocks can get cheaper and can go to zero. I guess many of you don't remember the penny stocks...

I would surmise that the Masseurfinder guys are strictly therapeutic unless they also have ads on RentMasseur and show a sensual option. If I see a nice therapist on Masseur finder, I also check on RentMasseur to see if they are listed if I want more than a therapeutic massage.

This provider appears on another wrestling site:
One thing to do is go to the fighting/wresting webCAST – Wrestlingmalesites

I am a little intrigued by what this means or the intent for providers who chose this for their sexual orientation? What could it possibly mean? Are providers required to answer this question, and they choose this because they don't want to answer?

Seems to go to be true...Where does it say where he is based...I would not pay in advance and since he cites 9 so-called positive reviews, why does he need payment in advance?

I just found this from a website - “I left the business in 2013 after my boss in Southwest Florida told me that research had shown ‘people here just don’t like you,’” the former news anchor said. A Former Fox And CBS Anchor Changes Career Path For Highly Unusual Job - PopCulture.com
So it is likely he was outed in FL.

rojjodc got a reaction from KiaOra in Is going to college still worth it?
As distressing as the college costs and doubts of return are today, I don't think it would a good decision to turn down a competitive college attendance. I mainly say that because it seems like the most highly successful and richest people seemed to have met other people who shares ideas and/or became business associates to starting companies that made them very successful and rich. And this good fortune happened even if they did not finish college, like Bill Gates and Mark Zuckerberg. So probably networking has even bigger (huge) value especially since the cost of college is so high (and I think borders on exorbitant). And getting the degree may not be the main benefit if you can go into business from ideas and friends you meet. You can always go back later, or you may even be able to get an honorary degree later if you company (ies) become successful.

I agree with your concern. I once met a provider in a cheap hotel and there were bugs crawling on the wall. Also, hotel guests were hanging out in the public area, and this was a night.

Actually I think it is more than just inflation - there are reports that the economy is bifurcated, with many people during very well - stocks and housing near records - and also many people struggling. As providers grapple with inflation, they may sense that they can charge more because there is a willing audience, especially in cities like NYC, Miami and SF, where this obvious wealth being generated and there's always news about some billionaire buying a multi-million mansion or making millions/billions from their business. So FEAR of MISSING OUT - they might as well try to make as much as they can for their niche as there is someone willing and able to pay. But I have barrier of paying over $300/hr even though I would pay $250 decades ago when I was much, much poorer. But I wonder if for me, that is because the THRILL IS GONE.

Johnsons has always had more Latin dancers than any other ethnic/racial group - and usually if they have a new white dancer, they are visiting from another city, like Montreal or sometimes another US city like Atlanta or Tampa. The question is whether they are the same dancers that they have had for years. I guess I will have to go and see (haven't been since the end of March)... I've never been to LeBoy...

Whether you are billionaire, millionaire, or not, I would think you should be most interested in what you want and find attractive. And that could mean different things to different people. But it makes sense in the old days and probably today, that word of mouth from other rich folks seeking is the best avenue. I would be 99.99% sure that if you loved muscle in the 1970s, you would have had to meet up the elite bodybuilders through connections not any published service - any you should know the most famous one who was rumored to have clients when he was just starting out.

I recall seeing another provider with 2 ads a few months ago and was going to comment on it. I don't know RM policy for billing, but since this provider is new, one guess is that either RM has a grace period of no charges, he had not been billed for the ads, and maybe he is trying out different ads with different messages to see which one gets the most clients. However, I do notice that the stats differ for each ad, particularly age and weight, which is concerning. He even has different information for zodiac sign! But he has gotten one client who posted a review in less than a month, which is impressive, assuming it is an authentic post.

I would presume the new owner would have to either honor the existing lease or 'buy' the leases out with both parties mutual agreement. If the strip is in such a sorry state, Stock may be able to move to another vacant location on the strip or perhaps in the vicinity of the gayborhood and probably get a very favorable new lease.

rojjodc got a reaction from Dallas Jayson in Your go to source to find massuers
What are considering when you say "quality"? If you are looking for certified, Rent Masseur does list who is certified (can we presume this is validated in some way even if it is self-reported). Massuer finder does list their training school if they are certified, they actually list their training school. It's interesting when a masseur lists on both, as they can sometimes give different messages and it's usually the MF will indicate mostly strictly licensed massages, but the RM may include an option for sensual (or even more), as if it's a little more 'naughty' (and I suspect RentMen listing would be even more naughty). For example, here's a guy that I used a few years ago from MF that I thought was strictly therapeutic, who I just noticed appears to have recently added (or relisted) a RM profile that now has other options:
West Hollywood Gay Massage - Male Masseurs for Men in CA - Masseurfinder
Digdeep - Male Masseur, Gay massage in West Hollywood, CA | RentMasseur

rojjodc got a reaction from Danny-Darko in Orlando need a strip bar
Actually, I am surprised that Johnsons had not considered Orlando for a location over Tampa. Orlando gets many more visitors than Tampa and is only about 500K fewer in population per metro, and there is probably even less competition in the gay entertainment scene (my guess). Orlando may be even more progressive than the Tampa area.
